New amp & components - loads of interference - SORTED

Bloody good amps they are with all the adjustability you could need to fine tune the bass. Also it will do 500w RMS all day long regardless of voltage drops, ohm loading. The place i use went on a product training for JL Audio stuff when those amps 1st came out, the guy got the power lead bridged it to the speaker connections and they still work, when he did it they were all like noooo what you doing, they just really are tough amps. -
Cheers Neil, when i manually open the throttle from the engine bay it springs back perfectly every time but when doing it by foot on the pedal itself it will not spring back it just moves back very slowly so sounds like a new cable is needed then.
-
My throttle keeps sticking, i think i have narrowed it down to the actual throttle assembly inside the car. When you press the pedal its not always springing back, what makes it spring the pedal back?

Glad its sorted Mark and thats given me something to try on mine now, damn you. I had been thinking only yesterday that may be my issue but didnt know where to start. -
No it just bolts straight on mate. I thought about making it go to the left but like it this way and i could just move the battery so its in that position, all i know is it works a treat.
-
They are Audioscape pods mate. I will try to get some in a while James.
-
The sole reason for the alternator move was purely for aesthetic reasons, the polished inlet pipe running in front of the block was not sat level, this way it does, also the heat shield is different to a normal Jabba G60 item How is yours coming along.
-
How long should i set aside, is there any setting up needed and is it as bad as people say?
-
Any joy with getting yours fitted yet James, easy or hard, mine should be arriving this week. Apparently the lever is the same length as stock but your pic makes it look longer, is this the case?
-
I cant remember exactly when they put a new MAP sensor on mine but either when the BBM was done or the turbo, they used the MAP sensor off a MK4 golf i believe then went 3 bar MAP sensor but im sure the issue was still there. Yea do the 53mm by all means, it cant hurt.

Are you looking at the graph right, sure the line your saying is the torque, basically the bottom line is HP top is torque? I would say the head is flowed and is coping with the boost then at higher levels its getting unstable, the whole problem of the 8v counterflow design, basically naff.
-
What head are you running?
-
Dont know if they are the same but most stuff just needs different mounting carriers.

If they are mapping the engine they can set the rev limit higher if you want it, although if the power is tailing off there is not much benefit to doing it, mine will go to 7K now but its not been the easiest thing to do on mine and no point in going higher currently. They always used to take me out in mine and scare me senseless, love it, just ask them, they will not mind. Your pretty much on your own mate with me regarding the Jabba service alot of people dont like them but myself i have always got on very well with them all. They have pretty much done all the work on my car mate, all the major stuff, i think they hate my car though lol, just ask them.
-
Yea possibly 6k, i always wanted it higher to 7.5k but it would not do it, just out of curiosity do they take you out for a drive when you pick it up and if so who does it? Strange Q i know. Thats tomorrow, nice 1.
-
Never used or seen it but apparently it really is as easy as it sounds, just need the engine and loom.
-
What they setting the rev limit to? I take it the map is not finished properly as the power tails off steeply @ 5250. Who is mapping it? Kevin?
-
Any pics Neil.

I know he is the man though i cant get enough of his projects. I think he actually advised Jabba on my car too.
