And billcor i love that colour but its not Avus silver, i either want Avus silver or that 1 which i think is called arrow grey.
-
Cheers, yea i wanna buy now while its a good time to, only problem is we have a 55 plate 1.2 polo to get rid of 1st or p/x but i doubt we would get a good deal that way? and we still have outstanding finance on it which will work out what we sell it for will pay the finance off basically.
-
Thats what worried me as there is no mention of the mileage and i looked for the usual wear signs and they are just out of shot lol.
-
Well on trader im searching for 60k and under, i know the blue 1 is 78k but as the advert says it looks and drives like 28k, i dont mind that so long as it does.
-
All the 225's im finding are high mileage, too old, over priced lol. I would still prefer the 225 all the same. Thing is it wont really be getting modded as its the daily motor so needs to be ultra reliable.
-
I thought they were all Haldex 180 and after????? wtf It says quattro on the advert.
-
For me i like the Blue, greeny do you know which blue that is? I like the black but they always look good in pics and never as good on the road where the blue is always the other way around, and this blue 1 is only a 180bhp i think. What can they be remapped upto?

Can somebody please sort this thread out, ever since it was removed for a tidy up its not been right. When i click on the view last unread post it goes to page 34  Many thanks. :help:

I wont look after it like it needs, i want a rear spoiler back end looks odd without them. Too far away. I would have had the OSV 1 but that sold, we were just waiting for the Polo to be fixed and sorting finances out. Gutted.

Ok i know your all going to say none or why bother or hair dresser blah blah blah but which would you buy. Audi TT 1 Audi TT 2 Audi TT 3

£22 from VW and £21 from GSF i would just go to the dealer, its prob tight because they are self lubricating, over time the grime from the engine bay gets in the cable and turns the grease solid, mine has and its starting to snap too, the joy.

It is worth it mate, i kinda want some creature comforts but unsure as to what, im talking heater but wanna get rid of the water heater, somebody has mentioned electric in the past but im unsure. Thats about it really. The Mrs even said why dont you just put 1 seat in it lol last night, she just does not want to go in it if i did all this, bargain. Was bored waiting to pic the Mrs up from work last night so got my phone out and was killing time doing a vid. Nothing special but for James there is towards the end the shift light.

Yea seen that site before but couldnt remember for the life of me what it was called, thanks alot. Yea i would if i could go carbon fibre bonnet, tailgate, roof like PhatVR6 and possibly wings but im unsure on that, if it helped to get a better weight distribution then yea im all for it.

IIRC i think it was something in that region too for mine maybe a little more cos i had my rods lightened too, the pistons been forged were within tolerance already. In my book 1 of the best things you can do to the engine, it does not mean its going to give loads of extra power but it does make it smoother running, better on/off the gas, as the whole moving mass is less it spins up and slows down easier so less work for the brakes to do, it just transforms an engine from feeling heavy front ended to really light and chuckable. Ignore what people tell you about hills and it slowing down the lighter it gets, its what people think happens after playing Gran Turismo lol, its all not true, it will be better up a hill if it spins up quicker and freely, the only difference it will make is because there is less inertia/mass spinning and it slows down a lot quicker you have to keep your foot down for longer, not more but longer, as in motorway driving. Forgot this exactly now but a certain weight removed, lets say for arguments sake 10KG in moving mass in the bottom end, will make the whole front end feel 100KG lighter hence feeling alot more chuckable.

Yea but im not saying you are specifically looking for high numbers, you just have a fetish seeing your car on the dyno  its like a wheel whore, when he opens the garage door its like his dirty little secret seeing them all

It is the same part.

What keeps your enthusiasm for corrado going?
junkie replied to Jim Bowen's topic in General Car Chat
Please make that list of what you hate mate.... -
Awesome stuff cant wait. :D
-
Well after thinking long and hard about this car and what i actually want from it, the time has come to let it go as its no longer what i want and i have lost the love for it. So its time to let it get to another level of Corrado goodness. This time its getting track prepped for the road, so im thinking and asking for your thoughts on what are the key ingredients for such a car. I want lightweight Caged How basic can you actually get the car, im not just talking poverty spec ie keep fit winders but electrically, how much needs to be kept for MOT stuff and is in theory doing all this work seem easy but yet its alot harder to do than show prepping a car.
-
Its a strange battle though cos its been off the road all the time you have been battling with it. I have lost all the love for mine mate, but cos i was thinking i want a nice leathered blah blah blah corrado, when actually i dont at all, i like its old, i like its ratty but not in the scene sense. Im going onto plan B soon......
-
I think i have figured out what you are Jonathon. Right you get wheel whores, brake whores, dirty whores you get the idea well your obviously the DYNO whore.

Wow i found 1 of those about 5 years ago and it fell from behind the dash, i just thought it does not look important so binned it.

[Halfords] 64pce eXtreme Socket set £39.99
junkie replied to Supercharged's topic in Suppliers Forum
I use the Halfords Pro stuff for work doing alot of heavy stuff with them, i have broken the 3/8" drive ratchet but that was trying to undo wheel nuts on my car without a breaker bar 1st and prob 1/2" would be better. The repair kits are a pain in the ass better of buying a new ratchet tbh, they will replace a rounded off socket and bent spanners even if you blatantly misused them. -
No idrea at all buddy, sorry.

Very happy with my outcome, def lighten and balance the bottom end it makes a huge difference to throttle response.
