Yep me thinks you will have issues with a et27 and even a et25, im running 9's on the rear of mine and there a et20 and its still mighty close to rubbing on my coilovers, it dont but any higher and it would!!

German style plates are as far as im aware illigal Rob, regardless of what country marking is on them, something to do with speed cameras not been able to pick them up!! But i've got a rear one on mine, never had any issue's with the :lcop: over them, not even on crimbo day when i got stopped for a lack of front number plateage!!! :lol: just depends on what you doin at the time they see you with them i guess, drive like a loon there gonna do you!!

Yeah, one of my standard leads was split so was causing probs starting. before that tho didnt have any issue's. just thought id upgrade as they needed changing!! and they were the black ones, not sure if they were beru or not as they looked old and the markings had worn off!!! and when u say bigger there only 17's instead of 16's same width so similar kind of drive!! just not sure you gonna have it as low as me tho!! lol

Hey Rob, i've got magnecor leads on mine and not had a problem. in fact you drove mine when they where on!! The beru ones are the standard/vw fit ones. by all accounts the red ones are the best but im not sure if they are still made as im sure there all black and of not as good quality!!! cheers ben and good luck for this w-end mate

i did the same last night to, car was very lumpy and didnt want to pull. drove to work this morning an felt fine tho!!

Yeah just checked my private number plate, its still on my old beemer that i got rid of 2 cars ago!!! good to see its nice and up to date :roll:
