Or of course there is the old fave babelfish!! http://world.altavista.com/
-
riva ive drove herisites vr and the suspension is nice and comfy, like he says its a good drive at normal driving and there ok when giving it some round the twisty's.
-
Well you are only 20 mate!!
-
There errr a bit errr well different!!!
-
Yeah how much did you shell out for that and where did you get it from?? edit: also very jealous as sooooooooo want 1 of these in mine, so not fair!!!
-
I would of thought so, im running 9's on mine that are a et20. im running coilovers and its quite close. herisites is running my old brock b2's and there a 9x16 et15 out back and from memory he is running just uprated 40mm drop suspension. so as long as you push them out far enough they will be fine. just aim for et15 out back if you do go for them
-
Hi lauraj stuff paying for the furniture, just knock up some sort of quick realease mech for ya seats and transfer between ya new house and new car. job done, would make a interesting convo peice with the new neighbours!!!!
-
Go for the 9's mate, think they would look rather tasty!! 6's if i remember correctly are et51 so you would need a huge adaptor to get them sitting right as riley said
-
no problem mate, not sure if they will foul or not, but on a 7 1/2 wheel a 225/45 would look a bit balloony imo. think on that size a 205/40/17 would look much better. tyres would prob be cheaper 2 mate
-
well could be a while mate, tryin to track my mate down for him to give me a hand doing it is quite hard. and then there the arb's and full bush kit as well. o and my headlight loom!! anyway goin off topic here so someone help this kiddie out!!!
-
Yeah i know about the saving cash option, best thing you can do is try out as many peeps vr6's that has diff coilovers on and see what you like the best. As for me my avo's on the front seem to have bedded in nicely now. Should get the rears on soon!! If you want when there on your more than welcome to pop over and have a go in it again mate
-
Only probs with 2nd hand ones is you have no idea what state they are in. sure a clean looking set of coilovers may "look like new" but they could be facked inside!!! Wouldnt want someone getting stiffed on egay or worse for that matter. Just imho i'd get new 1's rob.
-
Rob, speak to darren at g werkes, think his user name is g-werkes. there suppliers of kw. he should be able to look after you!!!
-
Hi riva i would think that a 225/45/17 tyre is the wrong size, depending on what size width wheels your goin to be running. most peeps will say you will have fouling issue's with a 225 and reckon that either a 205 or a 215 would be best. hth

Have a look in the group buy section mate, a few have put pics up in there.
-
nope still the same under the bonnet, bar it getting cleaned every now and again. and a scuttle cover, oh and some lupo wipers, out side just the wheels, new suspension, rear strut brace and some arb's and bushes to go on at some point!! maybe a new engine when funds allow!!
-
Yeah they my old wheels riley, but i reckon et15 would be out to far on the front. having seen robs with the et15's up front i know its wrong. they just stick out 2 much, like 2 cms out of the arch. looks silly and you would chew ya tyre's up something rotten!!! but with g60's and valvers it may be diff. best to ask someone with 9's on the front with one of them cars what there running etc etc
-
cheers young dub cant take the credit tho, like osv said it was steve denton's (premier's) old car and it was on porka rs's for the feature, there a few pic's in my gallery. i'll add some more when i get some more!! cr4p weather at the mo
-
To be fair, the et35 may still cause issue's fouling the brake caliper because of the design of the spoke. if it does then its not a massive job to grind a bit of the caliper off to aid clearence
-
Hi mate, you will need some adaptors yes, porka wheels are 5x130 and your vr is 5x100. There made in different thicknesses as well so depending on what et the wheels are there should be some out there that get them fitted snugly in the arch.
-
sweet pics rob, wondered when they would appear!! lol 17's and a 35mm drop will look like a beach buggy imo but if your keeping ur arches standard then i would go withs the 8's all round et15's at the back and a et30 at the front. depending on the style of wheel as well you may still have clearence issue's with the calipers. i do on mine (blue 1 in the pic's above) there a et30 with 3mm shims on so a et27 and a fairly flat face and had to remove some bits off the caliper. hth ben

sweet wheels mate, look awesome on a rado, have a look in my gallery for pics of mine on some 16's b2's
-
Yeah i would def go with what bally is saying, you could buy some cheap 2nd hand coilovers and a month down the line there shot. get new mate, cheaper in the long run!!
-
cheers rob, sounds like a plan!! and that guinea pig looks familiar, was that the 1 you had on ya parcel shelf to stop it bouncing around and making terrible noise's???
-
*cough* i have 2 dunlop sp sport 9000 in a 195/40/16 that would look rather nice on the 8's they have about 5mm of tread left. if your interested let me know.
