tyres northampton would be the place for you to go bally, they fit the gauge's onto the rim. got mine done there in the summer. got a ramp that fits in the ground so wont be any issue's getting yours done there

Rob. yeah was gonna say about that stopper thing last night, take it you did check that it wasnt split. 1st time i did mine i had no idea i had done it till all hell broke loose with the buzzer!! :lol: mines a mk2 golf sump guard as ive never been able to find a rado 1 anywhere!! and it dont sit that much lower as the sump sits on the sump guard it self. not the best but ive not had a problem since its been on. demon tweeks do omp guards, may be worth a look.

yeah you can plastic weld it yourself, but i would guess you need to be competant (sp), a bit like normal welding. and i've never seen anyone use glass fibre so cant comment on that!! could be worth getting a scrap bumper and having a go tho mate, could work out cheaper in the long run, its always nice to add another string to ya bow!!!! :lol:

as herisites said, plastic weld it up, skim of filler over the top to smooth off. dont just fill as it will crack and sink and look pants!! pic of mine for ya info

If you still have these feelings about the car id say you should either: a) Get yourself a daily runner and keep it for weekends and special occasions. b) Spend some money andtime modernising it, 24v engine, interior change, etc etc. i'd 2nd that, sounds like you really dont wanna get rid so if you can afford it get something as a daily hack.

true, but some off boro is ok. yarm is quite posh, eaglescliffe (sp) seems ok and where my mate lives in stockton on tees seems ok as well. take it you dont live in those leafy parts then??? :lol:
