Hey Jay, love the car and can kinda understand why you would want a change, like you said you feel the need to build!! gl with the sale if thats what you decide to do, peeps are sayin 8k i paid a bit less for mine and thats not had a newer engine put in, a diff interior, dashboard etc etc and yes mine is still known as premiers/steve dentons old rado even after 2 change of wheels!! but i would never be able to do half the work thats been put into those cars total respect for you guys who can do that you are complete stars, i saw mine being built and it blew me away so much that i never even drove it till i picked it up, not regretted it since either regardless of the problems rado's have. have read your thread a few times, you have put loads and loads of work into it, at times im sure you have thought about it before but changed your mind as it was no where near what you wanted and im sure its not been a easy choice, but after 4 years i can understand the need for a new project. so good luck and hope to see the rado go to a good home as it deserves that much for all the blood sweat and tears that have gone into it. cheers ben

Hi mate and welcome to the forum, depends on how wide the wheels are, im guessing there gonna be a 7 or a 7.5 wide??? if so they should be fine at that height ta ben

Yeah tell me about it, all he had to do was pop the mirrors back in the box and send off when the cheque had cleared, not exactly hard is it!!!! Unless there never was any mirrors :roll: :censored:

ok didnt want to do this but i feel its a start to getting my parts that i bought, anyway G60DUB was selling some smooth mirrors on a part exchange basis, so as my ar has no mirrors went out and bought some off another member. G60DUB said he could send them out after i had paid him £70 and then once i returned my old mirrors he would send me £20 back. as i said before i have no mirrors on my car so i offered to just send the mirrors i bought + a cheque for £50. so boxed them all ip and sent them off that way as thought it would be easier for both parties and a bit quicker!! so sent them off special delivery, took him a week to get them from the post office :roll: pm'd him a few times seeing what was going on with my "new" smooth mirrors and got the usual "ive been busy ra ra ra" ill get them out to you asap when i have time, im sorry if it wouldnt be to much trouble please send me my mirrors. pm'd him loads of time and he's now not even bothering to get back to me.so if i was you i would stay well clear. would like my mirrors tho mate so if you read this then please feel free to inform me why i havent had my mirrors off you and its been 2 months!!!! at the end of the day its £50 but im not made of money, i have a corrado for fook sake!! ben

well my plate sits in the passenger footwell and it has the brackets attached from when it was attached like the red 1 that was posted earlier in this thread, but a speed bump decided it didnt like my plate and scraped it and off it went!!! :lol: and its stayed off since!! As for the smooth bumber look it all depends on the person i guess, if you like it do it, if you not sure hold fire till you decided for sure, as it will be a pain to get a new bumper sprayed and fitted down the line when it could of been left!! Mine hasn't cracked yet and its been done for about 18 months that was plastic welded and a skim of filler over the top, tis the blue 1 that herisites posted. and i've had no prob from the :lcop: or the mot man with regard to no front plate!!!! :lol: Cheers Ben

was thinking the same Lee, never did like a big gap between tyre and arch, needs dropping!!! :lol: but i can understand why it needs to go up as it a daily driver like mine. have you thought about swapping the spolier for a 50mm 1? would save on the old " crunch, scrap ooooooo that sounds bad " routine on the old speed bumps!!! and red rado's do look rather tasty. good buy that man. yeah you could be right, maybe a few slipped out early to go 2 the dealers to be shown to the public and i cant see premier doing a dash swap if there no real need!!! plus it has late headlights and fogs/indicators and dont remember those been changed over when it was all done, also has the late stalks inside. whats the main diffence between early and late vr's body work wise bar the usual changes mentioned before?? :lol: i just keep it in the car, in the front passenger footwell, it has been on before and the plate still has the brackets on. used to sit under the fog/indicator on the passenger side, scraped a bit and came off. not got round to "putting it back" yet so just stays in the car!!! and it helps if you know the mot'er not having mirrors and all!!! :lol: oh and my ex g/f works in cid for the :lcop: so its like having my own guardian angel at times :cheers: cheers ben

I'm running 9's up front on my vr, et 30 and a 3mm shim and its fine. catches on full lock slightly but nothing major. Cheers Ben

yeah the lupo do one thing that the standard ones dont, its all quite simple, they work. there is no lift of the screen at all, good mod and highly recommened mate, if you not seen there a sort of group buy for some of them, £70 if i remember!!!

and i have a set of brock b2's sitting in my lounge. 9x16 all round et30 up front and et15 out back. come with dunlop sp9000 195/40/16. need a fe furb and the front 2 tyres are iffy. if you interested drop me a pm. cheers ben
