Bit of a thread revival here!! wouldnt go that low on a vr if i was you mate. The sump sits low on vr's, i was running 16's and was fairly low and smashed about 6 sumps just on normal driving!! I'm now on 17's and running a sump guard which you may want to think about!!!

Mine only used to work on setting 4 as well, the problem with mine was that the contact point behind the knob (technical tems i know!!) had bent out of shape and was not contacting, hope that makes sense. all that you have to do is pull the knob  for the fan speed and you will see a L shape piece of metal with copper piece on the end, thats the piece that was the problem on mine, just needs to be bent back into shape so it contacts.

You may also run into issue's of fouling on your calipers mate, i was running et30 b2's in a 9x16 and had to grind away at my calipers as the spokes caught slightly!! Sweet wheels tho and easy to clean without having to take them off!!!

If they are mcguard which they look like they are, you can order a replacement key from them. takes about a week to come from germany if i remember correctly!! Well it all depends if you have the details that came in the box, as in there it should give you your key number. here's the web addy you can get one from http://www.mcgardlocks.co.uk/prodtype.asp?strParents=&CAT_ID=93&numRecordPosition=1 hth ben

-
http://www.tyre-shopper.co.uk/ts/search/SizeSearch.aspx http://ssl.delti.com/mytires/start.html just a couple of places for ya rob, and like u said not many choices for brands there!!
-
Yeah please help him out, i want my tyre's back!!! na only jesting Rob no rush mate. They do look good on ya motor tho and they do cause peeps to chat about the size or lack of it!! and tbh it wasnt a problem on a daily basis, the car drove on them tyres fine, its not like i drive at 100mph everywhere. Some peeps do get a bit anal about tyres tho!! As for the tyre size i aint got a clue, but i would reckon either a 205/40/16 or a 215/40/16 would be fine, but i guess someone will prove me wrong with rolling radius facts and figures!!! and as for arch rolling cost, about £50 a arch if i remember rightly!!
-
If peeps keep nicking your caps, why dont you get the flush fitting 1's from richbrook via Riley i've got some on mine and had no probs with "losing" caps!!
-
Hey mate, stylehaus is in northampton. the guy who runs it is the guy who did the work on mine. its on the out skirts of town, if you go down there give me a shout and i'll show you the way!!
-
Yeah the cap has arrived, now im just a paranoid centre cap checker!! every time i get out my car i'm there checking they all there an checking there tight!! and may get some pics up soon!! im sure no 1 wants to see mine tho, its not exactly different to how it was when it was featured!!!!
-
Ahhhhhhhhh simple pleasures with the wipers hey rob!! and i said they looked to close together when you popped over!!! still looking good tho!!
-
Just seen this car in the flesh, looks very tidy. very smooth drive as well. dam weird having these new things called wing mirrors tho, cant get use to them!!! sweet motor mate bet u well chuffed wiv it!! still think aqua blue is better tho!!!!
-
hey bud in terms of performnce, these are for sale on the forum at the mo http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=47089 not bad at half the price!! would get them myself but i have bigger plans so would be a waste of cashola for me!!! and also combined with a shrink manifold. or of course there the old charged route!!
-
Ermmmm bump stops, not sure tbh mate. maybe powerflex do them as i have no idea!! im sure someone will have a better idea, and maybe roll ur arches to flaten the lip inside, or here's a idea, just pull them, flare them and smooth them!!!
-
Hey Martin, as far as i know the c never had 1 fitted. i think a few peeps on here have wired 1 up tho. im sure they will be along soon!!!
-
ok, well there all curbed. the rear ones are the worst. 1 looks really bad but its just where the laquar (sp) has lifted. there are a few small marks where stones have chipped them an all. best to get them all done mate. had quotes from about £26 upto about £50 per wheel, but they had'nt seen the wheels mate. the fronts are not to bad, just a few marks but like i said be best to get them all done.
-
na thats cool about the wheels mate, there tucked up in the corner of my living room and in the kitchen!! as for the speakers, they run off 1 amp an the sub off its own, checked the connections on the amps an all seems fine, checked my battery the other day an its as tight as u like!!! was thinking at work (very dangerous that) that it could be a squashed wire as my wires run under the carpet and under the back seat, they dont seem to move at all under there so could of squashed/chopped 1 of them!!! ahhhh the hunt goes on!!!
-
cool cool, and no i kinda ment could you look at mine as its doin my nut in at the mo!!! it cuts out, sometimes just the sub, other times the speakers and sometimes both, crackles when it does it!! dont think its my head unit as the lights stay on, could be a wire thats rubbing on something and is now bare an touches metal somewhere.not bein a lecky clever bod i dont wanna do more damage than good by ripping bits out looking for the sodding prob!!! and yep drop me a txt when u know mate, i'll either be in mk or errrrrrrrrr not  but should be up for havin a butchers at ya vr
