mines been battered an scratched loads since i had it painted,but then again i was never tryin to achieve a show winnin car,i just wanted a smart eye catchin daily drive,which i think i've achieved?so if yours is a daily like mine i'd get the best cheap respray in the same colour as she is now,an just try an keep on top of the waxin,i can let mine go several weeks without washin it,but because i always wax :norty: the dirt just washes of easy mate,

cheers mate,she gets washed we p21s shampoo followed by p21s paint cleanser then red moose glaze finished off with some red Victoria wax an that's about it :D for those who dont buy the mag :lol:

why dont you get some pics up of the worse bits so we can have a better idea on whats needed to be done,i know an old boy who does resto work an would blow it over for you for about 6-700quid(dependin on if theres much rust etc) i'm sure if spent a day goin round bodyshops you'd find one that can sort it all out for around the same price as the matt black

5.5k!!!now i gotta see this paint job in the flesh,think i'd sooner buy a new car than spend that much :lol: i never had all mine resprayed just the bits that were rough,it all came in @ less than a grand thats includin havin a new rear arch welded in,a for that money i cant complain @ the results,but @ 5.5k that must be a show car only,whens it gonna be complete?

easy to get out,will take about 5 mins,mind u i got good as i kept changin the colour of teh display,infact thats a job for the weekend vhange the display back to red :D

i've really thought about sellin the g60 to get one of these :D but when i'm ready for properly investin in a new car its gotta be an r32 or s3,s4, or even lower on the budget i'd be over the moon we a mk4 v6 4motion golf (we cream leathers) -
i got pulled by coppers on horse back :lol: 2mins from my house cause i had no plate on the front (was in the window) he also asked why i had german plates to which i replied "cause its a german car",so i thought here we go here comes a fine he just said oh right,did u import it yaself :lol: then he wrote me a producer out for a vw passat the clown :lol:

mine did this a few weeks back,also when i put my blowers on there was a smell of the coolant comin through? it seems to have corrected itself though,no steamin or smells,hows that work then :lol: (goes out to check the obvious of empty coolant bottle)
