no offence taken but with 126k fsh ,charger rebuild,respray plus smoothin ,9j borbets all round,new tyres full electric recaros i feel its worth that bit more than your average un loved g60? in my opinion its worth payin that bit more for a looked after car?

well i know if i sold mine i wouldn't be takin any less than 4.5k? i've already had 3 people pm me on wether i not i would sell mine one of them offered me 4.5k,an neils looks as good if not better than mine?mind you i can't remember the full spec list on neils :D i think if its a car that someone is lookin for then they will pay the extra to get the car they want,but not with any runnin issues

i reckon if u sorted the runnin issues 1st,u should get 4k easily,everythin else looks mint,i'm not gonna try changin ya mind as your head seems pretty fecked as it is but i reckon you'd wanna keep her if she was fixed :lol: but we the current probs i'd expect to be makin a loss on what you've put into it,also the probs you've had will put people off :( either way good luck mate,an if you get to a stage where ya just wanna give it away let me know :D

tbh mate ,darrens really good,i've spoke to him a few times over the phone an he's always been glad to help,best thing u could do is to drop him a line mate an explain whats what an see what he suggests stop stressin an get it sorted :lol:

I just cant possibly travel a 600+? mile round trip to darren and then have the car left there..would cost a fortune,with possibly having to stay somewhere etc :( i'm sure daz would be more than help full mate,give him call he's always willing to help.the trip there would be more than worth it if he solves all your probs surely? have yaself a nice little weekend break on the south coast while ya there an unwind :D

well i bought my g60 5yrs ago,1st thing i did was get my charger serviced an since then the only major thing mechanically i've had to have done was a new crank shaft oil seal! not bad for 5yrs of g60 ownership i'd say all other things i've spent money on were more for personal taste,the key is to buy a well looked after g60 to start with as a base then u should be onto a winner 8)

lookin proper smart,can't wait to see what it looks like when its complete 8)

no update on the job front,interview went well although brown nose number 2 has had a 2nd interview anyway car update for those who care :? well after havin a bad experience with a bodyshop,instead of plastic weldin me front bumper it was just filled :? anyway thats cracked,so after havin no joy tryin to find another bodyshop that would weld up the plate recess,i decided to have a blast myself :D so armed we my trusty knife,gas solderin iron i got stuck in (well its kinda plastic weldin ) :lol: pics so far donor bumper tryin for size let the weldin begin after the 1st stage of weldin i made some plastic weldin rods to secure the join :D only about halfway through it,but it feels really strong already,should be sound when i get to usin the special platic bumper filler i bought to finish it off 8)

i think if your making a new start,u might be best sellin it mate,sure it would be nice to take a few extra pounds over with you? plus we what i've seen of your car it would be a shame for it to be just locked away,let someone else enjoy the pleasures of the rado 8),unless your plannin on comin home quite often then i'd keep it :lol:

how much would this cost for me to get someone else to do it,as my cars my daily i would need it finishin once its started :lol: i could do it myself following a guide etc,but if i messed it up i would be in trouble we no car :?

i would think so,dont think they made them for specific models

i think you've already decided mate in my opinion you'd be a fool not to get it,i know i couldn't turn down the chance to easily double my money,like jimbo says get a small loan get it bought an make some money which u can then spend on the vr6 :D
