There won't be much salt on the roads yet... We've only gone for a couple of runs in Hampshire. You'll see a lot worse yet.

One thing it might be worth suggesting is that the exhaust wrap if uncoated can absorb oil etc and work as a wick in the event of a fire. Probably not a big risk though. Looks good progress, and very neat work. :) -
Check the senders for the oil pressure found on the oil filter housing, and the associated wiring. They may have been disturbed while fitting the water pump. When does it go off? On full throttle, part throttle, going round corners, on overrun? you do have the orange plastic guide on the dipstick don't you?

The Mk3 came with Scirroco seriously misspelt on the back, starting with C, and ending in lots of garage bills.

Be interesting to see what sort of difference it makes to airspeeds etc on cylinder filling.

Yup. It's always interesting to see how people are geting on with things and how different setups react to different additions. Wonder how much your 1.9 bottom end altered the effect of the cam? Is the NOS just going to be activated at WOT, or progressively from almost WOT? How quickly will it cut the supply, for example when changing up a gear?

I'm not sure. But I'm willing to bet it's a bit more than £7! :lol: Googled it. £60. I'm sure the DVLA will just lick his crevice in lieu though. Probably even give him another 6 months free for the honour. :lol:

Hang on.... YOu can't afford the £7 to make it legal, but you can afford the petrol to put in the car? Does maths not work when you go north of the M4 or something?
