    My mum has a passat V5, quite well specced. I drive it a bit every now and again and it is a nice car to drive....but, there is no way id have one instad of my corrado (and im sure andy would probably agree)

    If your thinkin it may possibly be the hg, go to a local garage and they can 'sniff' in your header tank to tell if the hg is gone Does it put alot of white smoke out the exhaust??

    It whould have had one fitted from the factory, but ive been told that if it is pre 92, then you can run without one and it wont fail the emissions test

    Well done mate, i know its only valve caps, but its your property and no one has the right to take it away from you!! This happened to some of our cars at E38 in the middle of the day while we were on our club stand :shock: :shock: !! Luckily, my mates gf saw what he was doin, gave him a massive bollokin and she made him empty his pockets, turns out he'd got a pocket full of caps!! 8) :lol: , just wet myself when i read that!!

    Do you do a new intercooler kit that is the same dimensions as the Golf G60 (intercooler, plus pipes, u bend etc)

    This happened to my grandad years ago, they brought a tractor off him, paid for it and never came back to collect it. It turns out he was an aid worker or somethin and had been killed in africa shortly after :(, so my grandad ended up with this blokes money and he didnt have to sell his tractor

    Most of the coppers i know/spoken to are pretty sound blokes, but its just 1 or 2 of them that give them a bad reputation!
