  8. Shame you are so far away as I have the kit you could use
  9. I'd give it a once over but tbh wouldn't go buying the cleaner or oil as it will leave you short selling it....
  10. Indeedy. I also learned a bit more about my car which I like. Some of it I worked out for myself and the rest I bothered my good mate fuzz
  11. Haha!!! Mark my words I will be having a madgefest to celebrate Whalen it's back in one piece
  12. Yes. Remove it and Hoover it out. There are special cleaners and oils to use on them too :)
  13. I'm so rubbish at taking pics!!! But today I removed the heater box, split it and cleaned it out. I then cleaned up the directional flaps, the old foam was more or less dust. I lined them with sticky back felt and now the heater box with new matrix is back in place. Next is to tidy up the wiring, route my Vdo gauge loom and begin replacing everything. Not too bad a job so far I'm taking my time doing it :)

  18. Really? Nicely done Ian :D Indeed I look forward to doing this. Wobbly wheel is not welcome!
  19. oh no! that sounds well harsh. I felt miffed with a tiny bit of surface rust by heater matrix hole :(
  20. Bit late for that screw idea  but I didn't go at it without thought. Most screws and nuts are back where I found them to make it easy to know which goes where and will help avoid missing any out. The doc would be ace please bud. I'll pm you. Thanks kindly
  21. Happy days glad it's holding up Jim.
