hi, i recently had a new alarm fitted on ma raddo, and when it came bak the headlights didnt work anymore! I pulled out the switch and noticed the brown wire going from the switch to the fuse box,had melted through and was stuck to every other wire in the loom! I removed theswitch to fuse box loom, and cut the wire out, and then re-soldered a new piece in! However, it appears this is not the main problem, with the fuse box tipped down, the headlights and dipped beam work fine, however as soon as you tilt it back to its proper position, all the lights fail! I was thinking, if the wire was melted to the fuse box, maybe its melted or has a bad connection from the f/b to the headlights! If this is so, can anyone tell me which loom it may be, or what one to look for, so i can try to rectify the problem! If this is not the case, and anyone knows of anything else to try, id be more than happy, cheers

hi, i have recently aquired a mint set of porsche teledials, with a polished lip, they are 16's, not sure on width? What do ya think about sticken them on me green storm with some coilovers? Look good or not? Also, what spacers would i need to fit them in the arches perfectly? cheers all

my alternator is makin a whining dry bearing kinda noise, would vw take mine as a trade for a 90amp? Mines a standard vr one, 70 i guess?

been to see me mate at a vw garage, and they ar only the standard tri locks anyway, so no prblems there, worrying about nothing again, ha ha, cheers anyway!

oh, i see, oh well, never mind, suppose i'll have to be happy with an un numbered one, lol! Doesnt matter anyway, but would be cool to know how many are still about now!

Just noticed i got locking wheel nuts on me new raddo, and i didnt get a key to get em off? How am i gonna get em off to change the wheels etc? Can any tire place do it for a fee maybe?

yeah, it is a manual and one of the 240 worldwide, which is awesome, considering there are some that must have been written off,stolen, burnt etc :( so mine is even rarer, he he! Wouls still be nice to know though!

Hi, i've recently got me little mits on a Metallic Green Storm,The car is in mint condition internally and externally, and so far, does not have ANY modifications on it, not even an exhaust! I really want to stick some coilovers on it, and slam it for shows on maybe a nice set of 16" TH Lines, but thats it! Is it worth doing this, or is the car worth more just left alone? Sorry for the big signature by the way, in the process of changin it at the moment!

Ay' it is the vr6 that im on about! Um, dont think it sounds like a mechanical sound, bearing or so, does sound more like constant charging or summit, will try another battery!

does anyone have some good ideas onh ow to clean the leather interior? What products work best, and what has the best results, i have cream leather interior on ma Storm, and it needs a bit of a spruce up, cheers

hi, i have just noticed my alternator becoming very noisy on ma raddo vr'6, is it better to fit a new one or get this one to and alternator specialist and get it serviced/repaired? How much is a new one if anyone knows, or how much for a refurb? Any help would be great, sounds pants when it keeps whining away, lol!

right, could this in turn be causing very poor running at low revs, and engine stalling when i pull up to lights etc?

right, well he's done all the checks on my car, and he seems to think ints running very rich, so what could the problem be here! He wants to get it all sorted before he takes the head off to start work, so he knows everything is in good working order before we start!

so there is no way to adapt the air mass meter thing then? Can adaption not be done through a corrado? Is that what you mean?

Hi, my car is now in a garage to have the head gasket replaced, however before the chap does this, he wants to sort out a few little electrical and running problems! He has used his diagnostics tool to get into the cars memory, and checked fault codes, but as soon as he tries to go into the adaption process (adaptation) his computer screen just goes blank,and he has to sign in again, and select car, enter chassis number all over again! It does this with both the VAG 1551 Setup, and his more recent Snap-On setup, but all the equiptment works fine on all the other cars he's got present! Does anyone know of how to get intot this adaption process, or why it might be doing such stupid things? Basically, i need a british spec manual for a raddo vr6, with wiring loom diagrams, or just the wiring diagrams would be a great help, so if anyone has had a similar problem, or has diagrams etc, let me know please, as im stumped, and so's the chap at the garage, cheers

right then, well does anyone know of somewhere that will do my head gasket, cam chains, clutch and cams all in one then so i can give them a call, as the chap i've booked my car in with, has said he wont change my cams,he's not into that sort of thing apparently! Will prob go for some non forced cams, as cant afford a charger or turbo for a long while, so will change if need be nearer the time! What r the best for more power and torque? cheers everyone!

hi, i have recently booked my 93 vr6 raddo in for a head gasket, cam chains, and clutch, and was wondering whether it was easier to fit some cams while its all to bits! What are the best cams to go for, ,schrick im guessing, but if anyone knows of any thing different, let me know, want more power but more grunt, dont mind if it runs sloppy at tick over, hopefully want to go up to supercharging it in the future! PLease can anyone tell me which ones are the best to go for, and where is the best place to get them from, and roughly how much if poss, any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers, Ryan
