Very cool, but what you gonna use it for? Supercharged V8 lawnmower?
-
Thats a bit of a silly question if you dont know what PCD and ET they are!
-
How exactly are you going to remove the exhaust side main shaft bearing (in a blind hole) with that?
-
Thats why he's bought an external aerial :)
-
Sounds like a CV joint, check to see if any of the gaitors are split.
-
You'll have to ask Rob about it, he may not even wanna sell it, but he's gonna need the wheel to take it away. The 215s wernt too bad on the back, prolly be nasty with 2 ppl in the back, and theyre too wide for the front.

Yea urban racer, the best one isnt as good as I thought tho, got a bit of a dig in one of the spokes.
-
There is a good one on my car, 17", 4x100pcd, et38, looks like it will match yours exactly, have a word with Rob_Bas he is coming to take my car away, sometime soon.

Right... And you're expecting how many people to want to see you in the bath? :gag: :pukeright:

Just because the wheel bearing is solid, doesnt mean it isnt making the noise. If the noise is only when youre accelerating, it is probably the driveshaft tho. Maybe put the front on axle stands and run the engine in gear, to see if you can find out which side its coming from, not that it helped me much when I tried that!

http://www.gsfcarparts.com They only seem to list the early ones tho, no doubt they do the later ones too, give them a ring. 25328 SILENCER-REAR CO 16V >7/92 82.50

I suppose the grease is to make a better seal between the casing and scroll, obviously the scroll need some clearance from the casing, which must leak boost.

Was all over in the one I got from l&s cartec, loads of it!

Drilled some holes in mine over the headlights opposite where the 2 screws go thru the wings and slam panel, and hooked a cable tie underneath, where the end of the screw sticks thru, and thru the hole in the grille. Bit fiddly, and doesnt look too good with the bonnet open, but worked nicely. Really couldnt see velcro or double sided sticky stuff working too well.

Id have thought it came out of the factory with a thin bit like that. -
Sounds like a fuelling problem, pump, filter, pressure regulator?
-

bix replied to tattyrado's topic in Engine Bay
I dont think it will do any harm, but I doubt it will help much either, you need a new starter really, have you tried whacking it again? -
My...got a bit of grunt aint it! Wouldnt see me standing on the sill like that tho, dunno about those strap, that thing needs to be chained down!
-
I just chopped a bit of the grass on the one I did
-
Somebody has stolen the paving stones :)
-
Quick bodge, not that you need a chop to see that it looks better lol.
-
Id have thought an rwd car would smoke more anyway...
-
You dont have to use it, not sure what it does, but it wasnt in there from the factory. Its cheap off ebay anyway!
