Try giving dubsport a ring, i read in 'the golf' that Matt Turner was have a V6 4motion transplant done there on his C, then Mark turned up an R32 motor for him so the V6 is up for sale.

Post them, fine by me.

MJ's got it. Not trimmed yet, dash undertrays and kick panels still need trimming oh and the boot.
-
Yeah i'll be there as theres a big corrado turn out and A20 LEE is a car that really needs to be seen in the metal. Still can't believe its mine. See you there.

I left MJ's at 9pm on saturday to fit the door cards and dash undertrays. MJ continue with the seats until 10:30pm. He can over to mine at 6:30am and we bolted the subframes to the recaros and fitted them hence i missed the birch service convoy. The car was on MJ's stand at 9am sunday about an hour and a bit after getting it finished. Worth it in the end.

Glovebox and airvent have been removed along with the vents on the top corners of the dash and all the holes you see at the base of the screen. More work to do on the dash.

I really should of photographed the interior and enginebay

Cheers guys, full spec to follow, its three side of A4 long. Big shout to MJ for the interior which pretty amazing and he's not quite finished yet and also to Jason Buckley for the monster paintjob. Had a few teething problems first time out but they will be ironed out over winter. Thanks for the pics henny

Well its finally returned for its first outting on 2 years. Hope you liked it. Please post any decent pics for me. As you can see mine were sh*t.

I've got genuine 993 mirrors on mine. Firstly, don't use DSP bases. They look shit IMO. The way to do it properly is to use a LHD base on one door and a RHD base on the other door. Costs were £200+vat for the mirrors secondhand from porsche-a-part and the LHD base was £30+vat. Fitting is a pro bodyshop job as it involves cutting two ovals into each door for the mirror clamps to grip into. I'll post pics in the members gallery of the fitting process.

Hopefully everyone will have seen it by sunday night. I'm still busy detailing the interior which now has 8 hides in it!!! Usually a trim takes 3. I can't wait for sunday.... :D

replaced my heater matrix fortnight ago. If you take your time its not too difficult but be very careful with the dash centre consule. Its very flimsy and breaks easily, ooh and its almost impossible to find replacement ones. Personally i wouldn't let the dealer do it, most of the "technicians  " won't have seen a corrado. Do it yourselve and myself and others are only and email away if you get stuck.

Measurement is from the floor to the centre of the front spoiler. Wound my car down to 60mm today. Very low, but i'm sure there'll be someone braver than me.
-
Yep its a massive task and you need to buy your wheels first so the arch can be shaped correctly and will cost over £1k to do which isn't bad when you consider four corners of the car will be painted.
-
They've been pulled and rolled same as my C. I've gone 2" inch wider at the rear and 1.5" at the front.
-
Here u go.

Cheers Jay, Just hooked it up. Its the green and black wire to the pos+ on the solenoid and ground to the nearest earth point. I used the rear light cluster mounting points. Works a dream, just need to figure out if i can frig the 5sec repeater.

I'm a big fan of Sacha's car (grey one). That engine bay is stunning and it takes time as well as money to achieve. I'm a stickler for engine bays. Bodywise is nicely understated, good choice of colour and trim. I rate it above andre's car if were just talking styling and not taking that mega power plant into consideration. My favourite C was DarkStar, not seen it for awhile.
-
If the car performed 12 -13sec qtrs and pulls 1.3g in the corners then i love it, styled to perfection, very purposeful. If were to judge it as a styling only exercise then it falls down for me.

I'd like to use my rear wash/wipe stalk to operate the boot solenoid. There three wires, two constant lives 14v and 6V and a negative. The 6v becomes 12v when the stalk is operated. Solenoid just need a switch live from one of this wires. How to i achieve it? Basically because i've give up trying to route a wire through the tailgate as a bad job. TIA

got mine from venom.

the old TB was very clean when i took it off. very surprised after 90k

Is that chromed or polished? Alpina stripped it down, bored it out and sent it to me. I smoothed out all the casting marks and part numbers etc and polished it. It was then masked in copper tape in the critical area's and then chrome plated. Got it back after about a month (sorry about that Ian) then sent it back to alpina527 for rebuilding who then sent it back to me complete and i just added a brand new dashpot. As you can probably tell, i've put some mega hours into my C and i've had some brilliant input from many of the V-Dub traders.
