Does anyone know of any other insurance companies that offer agreed valuation policies? I've only come up with four, so far: - Adrian Flux - Chris Knott - HIC - Greenlight Cheers :)

 That's really quite dangerous mate! You could end up with a footwell of scalding water, I've seen this happen a few times I was gonna suggest that it's a faulty bypass valve causing the lack of heat inside the car, but I guess that's been ruled out now

A rusty 1.0 ltr Fiat Uno 45bhp, heater never worked properly and would frost on the inside. When you shut the doors they sounded like they were made from old coke cans  One day a truck did me a favour and hit the side whilst parked up. After that I graduated to Mk2 Golf GTI :)

Oh feck... Might have to modify it then, get something soft stitched to its innards

Well I've just gone and bought it  Oh the shame...

Has anyone on here got a full autobra for their Corrado? I hate the damn things, but after picking up a number of stone chips on my bonnet yesterday, I've decided to get one for motorway use.. Are these good quality, and do they fit properly?

Hi, your car shouldn't have a cat - they weren't added 'til around 1992 (I could be wrong though, so someone may correct me :D)

I bought a new transponder coil about 2 years ago, fixed my starting problems Only thing is the connector at the end of the new wire isnt exactly like the original - the new one has a bit of plastic on it which you need to grind off (it's just there to stop you attaching the wire the wrong way up)

Elephant/Admiral (..they are one in the same) charge you pro-rata, so if you cancel your policy 1 month in, they'll pay you back 11 months, minus an admin charge (£45ish)

joebloggsVR69 replied to vwdeviant's topic in Suppliers Forum
lol that must be the same guy I spoke to on the phone when I called about getting my wheels done.. Needless to say I took them to Pristine instead  It cost me more, but that's not the point  -
Haven't updated this for ages, so thought I'd stick a few pics up from Stanford Hall :) The last 2 images were taken by a professional photographer, and I'm trying to decide which photo to buy.. maybe I'll get them both :D

Haven't measured it since I had the kit fitted - was originally a -50mm drop at the front and rear, but I raised the front, so its only -35mm (speed bumps galore round here..) It doesnt feel like it's got any lower over time, and they've been on the car for 2 years now I dunno how many fingers I can get between the arch, will let you know Definately cant fit a clenched fist in there anymore
-
Yeah, I prefer my Solitudes now the car is dropped they kinda look bigger when the car is lower...? :? I just couldn't stand the original ride height

Very nice! 8)

I totally agree, global warming can't be proven just on the last 50 years of climate variation.... Did anyone see that programme last week - 'The Great Global Warming Swindle' ? It's an eye opener. Some kind sould posted it on Google video: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 4899458831

..for large engined cars  The budget is on Weds and they're saying on the news that it'll be around £400 for some of us :x I wonder what they'll class as 'large engines' - probably anything greater than a 1.4
