Was he as good as the Scarlett bap though?
-
That does not nearly do them justice
-
He's got Joey Jordison from Slipknot on drums and former Marilyn Manson guitarist John 5 in his touring band too - damned good effort! :salute:
-
you say that, but it's that Renault engine that's got them where they are so far... Look at equivalents elsewhere: Renault works team outpaced consistently by customer engined independent, Ferrari engined Toro Rosso has been pretty lacklustre all year, McLaren outdoing Benz works team... Definitely last chance for Webber though, RB have admitted they'll consolidate themselves around Vettel in 2011... So it's back to "no.2 driver" for the Aussie chin

...which will be a media furore, re-open all the wounds and no doubt invoke a second FIA hearing and an aneurysm for EJ :?

Grey interior is superb, lifts the light in the cabin considerably and works great with a black car... but I'm biased as that's exactly what my VR had. Well, it still does, but it's now CazzaVR's car :)

No Country for Old Men (again) 9/10... still great, but i was knackered and the pace got to me a little this time round. Though that was probably compounded by having to endure the ads too.
-
So that was... eventful, eventually.

Enter the Void ...either 2/10 or 8/10, but I've yet to decide which. It's visceral, in your face, technically brilliant, memorable and just goes to show that you don't need gimmicks like 3D to make a movie stand out... but on the other hand it's insane, jarring, de-sensitising, indulgent, mysoginistic and pointless.

The Wrestler 9/10 (loses 0.5 point because ending like that annoyed me)
-
Damn, really? I've read the comic, so perhaps knew what to expect - really enjoyed the adaptation, so would give it 8.5 :dorky:
-
he wasn't the only one either... Alonso made it unnecessarily bloody difficult for himself too - it looked like a Formula Ford event for at least half of today's event!
-
The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou 9/10 The intro sequence with the pan across the cut-away profile of the Belafonte is genius! :)

Tune for the weekend... NSFW [youtube:22r8p41x] [/youtube:22r8p41x]

there's a high potentiality that'll get misconstrued as an invite

"it's time to nut up or shut up!" Zombieland 9.5/10 - (0.5 lost for Murray not making it)
-
Pi* 10/10 * as in the numeric character. Haven't seen it for a couple of years - now remembering why I loved it so much. Superb soundtrack too
-
Ha, if only my mother could see that and know that funding my film degree wasn't completely wasted  Anyway, back O/T: For A Few Dollars More 9/10 (edit: rated up to 9 after all, 'cos it's got the best soundtrack of the any in the Dollars trilogy *awaits flame*)

That sounds amazing! is it an english film? when was it made? No squire, it's German (so duty-bound to be liked here), directed by F.W.Murnau... it should be highlighted that it's a silent flick. For Wullie anyone that enjoyed it, there's two 'linked' movies out there: the 1979 remake, also called Nosferatu, also directed by a German (Werner Herzog) and starring one of cinema's true arch-mentalists, Klaus Kinski. The second film is an Anglo-American effort called 'Shadow of the Vampire', which brilliantly posits the idea that Max Schreck who plays Count Orlok in the original film, was actually a real vampire... bonkers, but brilliant and starring Willem Defoe as Schreck, John Malkovich as Murnau and Eddie Izzard too. Right, s'enough from me... except: The Hurt Locker 8/10

The Hangover 7/10 finally got round to watching it, not all I'd hoped - presumably because everyone told me it was epically funny, so it was always going to have to live up to that hype
-
Think it'll be a Webber weekend... so I've left him out of my fantasy team and gone for Vettel and Alonso
-
Moon (again) 10/10 (also again 8) )
-
Predators 6/10 - could just as easily have gone straight to DVD. Post pub brain out stuff that doesn't do anything that the original didn't do equally well 23yrs ago.
-
I kept him in my fantasy league team and feel filthy for it :pale:
