  1. Guess Miles will be dragging me along to this....................... !!!!
  2. Knowing off someone who had her face completly rearranged and her life ruined, plus her children who were in the car - now having the mental scars - all due to some young lads dropping bricks off a motorway bridge straight through the windscreen of her car - I now always take note when people are on the overhead motorway bridges. Completely mindless stuff - off course they were never found or tried for it.
  3. Lovely condition - where exactly ?? Not the one in the photo's thats for sure
  4. Yeah - I will be dragged along with Miles !!!!! I am sure if it was anyone else he would ask or invite them nicely ............ lol !!
  5. You certainly did miss a good day - although it was very windy and dusty - my car is disgustingly dirty still. I hope you get better soon and they let you out of hospital to enjoy other up and coming events before you get a Red Card !!!!
  6. Looking forward to it - desperate for a decent drive
  7. But it is such a good drive from Gloucester to Banbury too................ But yes, a bit long winded. See you at Stanford.
  8. So then Swompy - has Jim put you off - or is your right foot heavy enough ?? lol
  9. Well I am going from Banbury - excellent roads from here - A423 to Southam, then A426 to Rugby, A5 and minor roads to Stanford Hall. If you are coming accross this way - we can meet up.
  10. Good to catch up with everyone today. For an AGM that was actually quite a fun day, nothing toooooo serious or boring. Think it was the best one I have attended. Hope to catch up with everyone soon.

    Nissan 350Z

I am surprised at that - I test drove one about 18 months ago and gave it a very proper test drive and thought it was pretty dammed good. Handled and performed better than I had expected and for the money fantastic - a definate replacement consideration for the Corrado in my mind without spending mega bucks. Downside - interior. I understand the earlier models did have some teething problems, although I was unaware of the running costs mentioned earlier. Is that the same with all Jap cars then ? If so, I am surprised they sell so many.
  12. How on earth did he survive that - one very lucky man. The pictures on Page 3 do show just how lucky - his number was obviously not up yet.
  13. Eric, Me please for the Club Stand Cheers Wendy
  14. It has to be pointed out - as everyone has missed it................... The biggest difference.........Is the Shape !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol I'm going........
  15. Urg !!!! Not sure at the moment how the logistics are going to work on this at all - Judith is Sheffield way and I am Banbury area - Nightmare ! Anyway - I will get back to you on this. Wendy
  16. Mine is good - I have owned it for 8 years now, 181k on the clock. Called RAC twice both minor faults once a water hose then an alternator - pretty normal stuff in cars of these ages. If you buy a good one and look after it - then I think you should have a fairly reliable car - as everyone has stated before - considering age etc. Get one - you will love it. I can't wait for more of this dry weather and some events - which seem all a little slow in coming forward so far !!
  17. Please tell me we do have accomodation booked for the night prior - 3rd June - as that is miles and miles away ! I am not known for early starts and that is when they are 30 minutes down the road. lol
  18. But - most of the A roads are being reduced to 50mph which is not good news. The only reason I can see for doing this is due to the state of our roads. Instead of spending Tax Payers money putting up more and more signs - of speed limits, number of accidents etc it would be more beneficial to all - to repair the roads and keep uninsured drivers off the roads. Re the 80mph - although this is only good for someone like me - the money that will be spent on the administration is just wasted - better if the camera's did not clock you until over 80mph, or even leave it all at 70mph - this is generally sending out mixed messages to the majority of drivers - one telling them they can drive faster - the other slower.
  19. I think the lesson learnt from this has to be - BE very weary of buying from someone relatively new to the Forum. I did partically clock when I placed my original order that they had been very few posts and not long a member of the Forum. Shame as this puts everyone under the same banner when most can be trusted to their word.
  20. Have you put on weight ? !!! Is it a case of harder right foot ? !!! Sorry - I will get back to work now !!!! Where are the smilies ?
  21. For pads and disks - I have just replaced my from EBC to Ferrado's - an 100% improvement - a little more brake dust on the wheels though !!
  22. In PM's - when you reply to a recieved message - you can no longer scroll down to read/quote any of the content of the message recieved. Or, have I missed something ?
  23. I did, although my reasoning was to check none of the documents had been forged - I followed my car from original sale through two other garages that had serviced it. In my case everyone was really helpful, so Good Luck
  24. I too would like the return of the My Posts Section - much easier than trying to recall which section and which thread you replied to. Thanks Wendy
  25. Arh Miles - So sad !!! Do you want to come and see my Calender - see what it looks like !!!!
