What is it with people who can't f***in' indicate??

Glad that pisses off someone else too. I tend to flash people who do that and then cut me up. Yeah that pisses me off as well, though not as much as the rover driver who was literally millimetres from hitting me at 70mph today  He was infront of me on the sliproad and when we got on the motorway I overtook him, but the dopey **** didn't notice and decided to pull out to overtake the truck infront of him just as I was in his blind spot, at this point I was checking over my shoulder to make sure it was safe to move into the outside lane, looked back to find his rover about to plough into me and had to swerve bloody hard to avoid him :bad-words: :bad-words: Luckily for me nobody was in the outside lane, but people like him make me understand how people get serious road rage, had to check the passenger side of the car to make sure it hadn't been hit he was that damn close! I was pleased with how stable the car is when making emergency maneuvers at high speed though. -
The battery went flat on mine overnight so listened to the alarm chirping away to itself for a few hours :mad2: before the garage came round to jump start it. Then had the battery replaced. Tomorrow I'll be having the alternator checked out (only had 13V across the battery terminals)

Excellent work JBOB, this is probably my favourite C from a looks point of view 8) ... (even with those wing mirrors!)

I wouldn't put radweld in my car after reading threads like this http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=32265
-
Reckon I'd be up for that
-
Muppet! Turning the ignition on would release that.

Personally I'd take out the speakers, put a sub and amp in the boot, and upgrade the front components if you haven't already. The side panels and shelf can be replaced pretty cheaply if you keep an eye on the bay or the parts for sale section on here. I put a stealth shelf and 6x9s in a previous car, sounded good but within a few weeks there were a lot of difficult to remove squeaks from the shelf supports and side panels. Wouldn't bother again in a hatch back.

It's going to cost you at least £1K-1.5K for a good quality retrim. If you do a search for "leather AND retrim" (without the quotes) there's quite a few threads that mention recommended places.

I don't think there is a roof, it's only used as a show car afaik There's more pics of it on the DSP website, click here then go to show car

Don't think anyone sells all red rears, people tend to tint them themselves. Worth having a look at these threads for ideas: http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=39358 http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=40530

fair enough, it's an impressive bit of work though, shame about the bumpers and exhausts :?
-
I do like the convertible rado's, shame they don't look right with the tops up though veeDuB_Rado, no mention of the DSP corrado roadster in that thread though?

I was wondering the same thing yesterday and had a look, it's part of a motorbike crank

Not entirely true, Tar-ox do ceramic discs for the WRX, not cheap though, £740 for the discs, £200 for the pads. They also do 6 and 10 pot conversions for £1100-£2100 -
Not a great fan of brows so I say get the VW or Rieger grill and have it sprayed body colour
-
 I'll have to borrow the old man's 535i then ... that's got 8 cylinders
-
mmm, that burger looks a LOT tastier than the 'bigger big mac' I had yesterday ... certainly reminded me why I hadn't been to mcdonalds for a few years!
-
PMSL
-
You'd get juddering through the pedal if the disc was warped, park your car at full right lock then jack it up and spin the wheel, should give you a better idea where the noise is coming from
-
That's the main reason, dust and high frequency vibrations of the pads. Worn brake pads also cause squealing because some pads have a warning mechanism built in that causes sqeealing when they wear low.

Biggerbigben - Golf sold.. another new project!

Sounds fantastic to me :thumbleft: -
Suspension tends to sag after a few years, if it was on the original 14yo shocks and springs there's a good chance it was already close to 40mm lower than the original ride height anyway so you wouldn't notice much difference with 40mm lowering springs

Got a Toad alarm on mine and have never had a single problem with it. Seen loads of posts about dodgy Cliffords, but don't recall a single post about a Toad going wrong.
