Pretty sure you get a 10% discount if you're in the CCGB

Has he tried taking the bleed nipple out completely? Because they can sometimes get blocked. It's also possible the brake line has collapsed somewhere so it may need a new hose.

That site is class! Everyone in the country should be forced to read that before they next drive on a motorway! That bit about sheep is particularly true, the amount of times I've overtaken middle lane ****ers, then pulled into the inside lane only to find a mile or so later they've all decided to speed up to way over the limit and overtake me (because they couldn't possibly travel slower than someone in the inside lane), then they slow down to less than I was doing and force me to repeat the whole process

Bit off-topic but why do VW owners have an obsession with 'Wolfsburg Edition'? I don't see older fords going round with 'Dagenham Edition' stickers on them...
-
not for me thanks  fair play for doing something a bit different though

Two tone on any modern car looks wrong imo p.s. is it just me or do those wheels look like they're off a roulette table?

Gran Turismo 4 - what do you think of it?

Yep thank God for the b-spec mode, I did a couple of the endurance events in GT2 and it felt like torture after a couple of laps! -
Nope, looks like a Maxi Turbo to me, next to what looks like a 205 T16 and TWO RS200's!!! That fella's got good taste in cars 8)
-
Damn I'd forgotten how good the VR6 sounds :) Think I might scrap the turbo plans and get a VR instead....

Yep I saw that as well, definately looked like borbet a's, think it had german plates on it as well -
The best one I can think of at the moment is the german G60 that's got a boost guage installed in the rev counter 8) EDIT: Just remembered, the A4 headlights on the DDI Corrado are probably my favourite mod

I don't trust any other road users to know what they're doing, especially old people!

that's why it's on the rev counter circuit board then, if it was on the other circuits then the rpm data would have to be sent to another board as well, not a problem with today's technology but quite a lot of unecessary data flow on 17+ year old hardware. Putting it on the rev counter board was probably the easiest way of implementing it at the time.

Good to know what it does at last .... nothing  Doesn't the buzzer come on when you go above 2K revs when the oil pressure is too low?
-
The Corrado estate that was posted here this week had a body coloured grill badge (red), looked wrong in my opinion. Might work on dark colours though

Like 33hz it all depends on my mood at the time, sometimes I just sit behind the traffic, other times I'll overtake a couple of cars at once. If you know the roads well you can back off before the overtaking straight to get some distance between your car and theirs, then accelerate round the bend so you're doing about 60 when you pass the first car, a few seconds later you've gone past the others with plenty of time to spare before the next bend. Don't do it so much these days though, think I'm slowly turning into a Devon driver :(

TT's are either 1.8 (180-240bhp) or 3.2 (246bhp) Have a look at parkers.co.uk, all the details are there.

Dunno what it is but some of the pics of the instruments in the owners manual show it so it must be standard in some cars
-
I don't really like them, bit too 'busy' for my liking.

Saw a red G60 on heavitree road going into exeter about 16:45 today, numberplate ended with JSC -
was expecting you to say "tick BOOM!" there... anyway, like **stan** says do the cheap stuff first like the tensioner, and change the oil & filter if it hasn't been done recently

What really cheap car do I buy? Suggestions please

This man speaks the truth, I had one of them a looooong time ago and got hit in the side by an escort van, the drivers side of the car was mangled with barely any damage to the 'scort. Oh and the handling in the wet was very scary, even with decent rubber there was no grip. Otherwise it was a nice little runabout. -
If you haven't already done so it would be worth changing the brake fluid
