rite did it "VR6 South" way and got the rado started, nice! but drove it striaght to my mates garage, turn off the engine & tried 2 restart the alarm went mental AGAIN! so im goin to rip it out!

is there any tips in it mate?

"Try switching on the ignition, reconnect the battery, turn the ignition off then press the remote for ten seconds" done that with no joy yesterday im afraid! VR6 South, will try ur way now.

had the battry off for a few days to replace the alternater last wk. when i reconnected the battry the other day the alarm when off and couldnt dissarm it with the fob or start the car so just took the battry back off! any idea how the set the alarm? cheers Dave

alrite guys need a to use the forum knowledge, ive been lookin for a second low budget project for a while now. was idealy lookin at mk1 golfs and caddys but could never find a good base for the cash i want to spend! ive been offered a mk1 jetta, 5dr, 1.6 petrol, manual with only 70k on it. looks in good nick, and just in need of a bit of tlc, only 2 spots of rust 1. on the pass door below the mirror 2. on the tail gate. so what i want to know is what do u guys think & what do u know bout mk1 jettas? any help would be great thanks, Dave

well i want to redo the lot really, boot, floor, doors as im hopin to put new carpet down at the same time? and letter this year i goin to retrim the headlinein, visors & sunroof panel too.

rite as the weather is lookin a bit beta i want to get on with renewin my vr's interior, new carpet and soundproofin mostly. anyone know how many square feet of soundproofin is need to do a rado? Thanks Dave

if ur rado was black id say "blood red" hands down, very M3, alfa GTA. but i think the "Doe grey" will probably go best in ur C mate.

its the wrong fuse i put the same size in that came out (20A). and yea mine on the orginal one too, if that is the case mayb its time to upgrade it then??!
