perfect! just when i thought i had it all sort, ready to put through the MOT and finaly start to drive/enjoy my vr again! went out to double check everythin 2nite befor the test 2mora only to find that the central lockin and electric windows have packed up! have no idea why really, only thing i can think of is changed the battry the other nite as mine was dead. any help or even ideas to what it could be will be greatfully receved? almost bought a a 944 after bout 6 month of lookin for a C, glad i waited a bit longer and found my vr tho :mrgreen:. 944's are still nice but i wouldnt say no to a 911 964!

they all look ok. but have to agree with Cazza16v, the green dose sound tidy!

and a few of with the speedlines on. 8) but my good what a downgrade in traction they are! never had much trouble with wheels spin (unless i wanted it of course) with the wided better tyres of the DZ's!

rite guy/girls thought it was bout time for an update: * spoiler now fixed * heater fixed * coilover sorted (not raised, as there were a bit uneven) * 50mm chin spoiler on (90mm in bin, wasnt much left!) * uprated headlight loom in * headlight inserts painted black * rear light surounds painted black (didnt like the silver) * lupo wippers on * swg full scutle cover in * trimsport rear brace in (much better fell connerin/brakin) * raceland 6 branch manifold wraped in cooltek heatwrap & fitted (mmm more noise!) * soild front engine mount fitted sure theres more just cant think of it * also got a set of schrick 268's & just orderin an enlarged TB to go with a schrick mani when the group buy go through. whitch im hopin to get done at stealth so i can get it runnin sweet with a remap. * got half of the red & blue leds fitted in the dash/switches. * booked in the body shop for jan 07 for a bit of colour codin & cill smoothin * plus im sourcin some soundproofin, new head liner & visors (black) & new carpet. next on the list will be a set of 288 or 312's up front, mk4 rears & some braided hoses. and then the hard bit of pickin a set of rims to go on her, runnin the speedlines for winter at the mo. but have 5 sets in the garage to pick from (yes i know im greedy!), will add a poll latter as im sure ill need ur help decidin! after that im planin to do the g60 final drive & diff upgrade. and thats the stage i want to get to and stop, and i think by the time i get all that done i will be happy to stop! but then theres always the voice in ur head sayin " supercharger" but that will be way down the line if i do decided to even go that way. comments are more than welcome guys & girls so feel free, oh and ill add pics later, when i can be a$$ed. thanks for readin Dave

alrite guys, went to fit my shiny new raceland 6 branch manifold on the vr today and now im a bit stuck :oops: . i need a new exhaust manifold gasket, went to gsf but they only do thenm for a 4 pot and not the vr6 :mad:! so now i have to go to the stealers and order one, but rather stand there & chat to the always stupid bloke behide the counter-dose anyone know the part number? thanks alot Dave

rite i need a new battry for the vr, so did a little search and found that a bosch silver in 72 or 74AH seem to be ok. is there anything better than that (that will still fit ok)? kev's dry cell sounds really good with its light weight but a bit pricy at $235 (with battry tray)! is there anything in between?

rite i finaly got round to changing the resistor in the heater motor that controls the fan speed (at it only worked on 4), but forgot to mark down witch way round the conector went on? anyone know whitch conector the brown wire should be with and witch conector the red wire should be with? any help greatfully reseved

yea id have to go with the mk4 R32, and spend the rest of the cash modin it :mrgreen:
