VR6 Crank sensor, Early Nearside Door Trim (outer one)
KIPVW replied to KIPVW's topic in Parts for Sale
I do Chris, was gonna stick back up when the weather gets better but if you are interested i'll hang onto it. -
Will have this mate and sort collection.
-
Chris I just used a high quality jubilee type one that has a thin bolt & small nut on opposite end, not just a screw type one.

When i had the one on my Nugget fitted because they weren't the company the insurance used I payed these guys upfront and then claimed it back from my insurers (What they suggested) and it all went without hassle and I recieved a cheque soon after to cover the costs i payed out. I would actually call the boys and give them your insurance details as they will be able to ask your company for you then and probably get more luck by doing so. ;)

Can't say farer than that Dan, makes the small price increase from buying from you a complete bargain with all the hassle sone haver ad.

Early and late sunroof control panel /interior light
KIPVW replied to samthegram's topic in Interior
The switch for the sunroof is in a completely different place Sam, IE Not on the rectangular panel but set almost in the middle of the motor cover albeit right over to one side. Not sure the switches could be doctored or not to make it work but i'd have thought so. -
I think the problems seem to be with everyone who pre ordered, them from the OTTO club. If you just go straight to otto models and order they arrived quite quickly.
-
had exactly the same situation too, they sent the peugeot's instead Grrr! a real cock up by the looks of it. They asked me to send the Pug's back but decided to order 2 more Corrado's which have now arrived and i'm selling the Pug's on ebay instead as they have sold out at OTTO so someone will want them. I didn't want to faff about and risk not getting the Corrado's so took the plunge. Fingers crossed for you they arrive soon but yep comunication is utter pants if you ask me. Took them a week to acknowledge my email about the Peugeots

/\ That ;-)

185 55 15 is the correct size for early cars, we tend to just fit 195 50's instead now due to more choice :) and doesn't change the erto too much

lupo wipers.. mint condition with blades. awesome corrado upgarde!!
KIPVW replied to lamwagon's topic in Parts for Sale
well that was fun  -
Yep they really dont like to be disturbed after all it's probably the original, mine was exactly the same and it didn't quieten down it simply stopped altogether which i bet a pound for a penny will be the same for yours too Chris. Replacement is the best policy i feel but no harm in trying first but mine went and had to drive to harewood Macho style lol!

Worse case scenario is that if it is corroded and needs body shop attention the guys will happily come back and fit the screen once any repairs have been done, just a case of getting the car on a low loader to the bodyshop before hand :) Good luck. Some pics of your car would be nice in the meantime so start a members gallery and get some up ;)

Used Armour all for 15 years and looks a good finish constantly.

Take it Micheal as I'm thinking about it now too ;-)

there are various ones around Jim but all ours have been sekurit ones apart from my silver 8v which was some random name but was ok and had no wiper issues or anything with it, I guess they'll always be a number of people making aftermarket screens while ever there is demand for them and whilst i'd always prefer a sekurit one a pilkington one would be the next choice regardless of what i've read on here. I had a pilkington one in my VR a few years back before it got chipped and ended up with the current Sekurit.
