The solid vent ones were added to later cars 94 onwards and mainly to UK Cars only as it was to assist with getting the running temperature up quicker in winter ;-)

Looked into this myself one Steve but it seemed a glass cutting method was needed rather than just polishing as the guys who i trusted to do the job said polishing it has been known to overheat and shatter the screen so go easy if you do. Ended up with a new screen :/

Hi All, As many are going to be at Stanford Hall on the 5th May we thought it very appropriate to have a gathering in Chris's Honour at 1pm on the Club Stand. We'll raise a glass of pop to the great man too.

Na you need to be on the stand before 10 am really as if you arrive after that they probably won't let you on due to general public. Ideally you should also be expected to stay untill 4pm too. Thanks.

Sounds like a bad idea to me. The doors internal areas need to be clear to key the window drop down let alone drain out water which would cause other issues.
