  1. Skinnyman, is it you on ED38 also? I hit a pothole a years ago which caused identical damage to my wheel. Forunately i managed to take a pic of the hole before they'd filled it in. Its worth still getting some pics and making a claim anyway. They may deal with it despite it being filled in. If its only been filled in with gravel, it means its a temporary fix - you maybe in luck. Again when i claimed, i had to purchase a new wheel and provide an invoice to the council. They then refunded me. So much for just the splitter being ripped off :( Good luck fella!
  2. Hey Kempy loving the GT-R and the Aston Martin. Not sure about the 350Z paint work. Is that a colour you have to win?
  3. Yeah i appreciate what youre saying. In the past i usually went directly to the couriers but as it was cheaper through such companies i used them instead. Interparcel has always been fine. Sorry the £65 included the postage of 30. Ive got through before on the phone though and just been fed a load of speil about DHL are investigating the matter and are awaiting them to update them. Ive rang DHL to ask whats going on and they just told me they've updated P2G and i should contact them. But then P2G said DHL havent sent them anything. THen i just went in circles.
  4. Compliment from the RAC bloke who came to sort the leaking fuel pipe. Praised the car, said it sounded really nice and quiet. I told him it should as it only cover about 28k :D Again, as per members thread, RAC :notworthy:
  5. Oh really, halfords ey? i take it, its behind the counter and not on the shelf? Cheers Poll! This last 2 months have been a byatch for the Corrado.
  6. come one keep em coming i can take it. Seriously though, you're making me laugh. I wonder if i can iron my underpants whilst trying to navigate the Carousel on the Nurburgring
  7. I emailed Trading Standards yesterday asking if they were able to help with such companies, again havent had a response yet. I thought they were a good delivery company. I used to use Interparcel (with no problems i might add), until i found people on here used P2G so thought id give them a go. Fingers crossed trading standards can help. This has been going on for over 8 weeks. Granted there was the christmas period, but still.
  8. Ok, so i know a few people on here have used/do use Parcel2go to send parts etc and have probably found them alright. But to be honest i cannot share those sentiments. Kempy bought a set of wheels off me via the forum, after a load of hassle to get them delivered. DHL have gone and lost the wheels. After phone call, after phone call, i was ensured by P2G that DHL were investigating where they were and will be in touch. A week later i did hear anything. I was then advised by P2G to make a claim and was emailed a form. I filled the form, sent them the original collection invoice and proof of value. I later received an email stating the collection invoice was showing as 'failed collection', i responded stating that was impossible as thats the original collection invoice for when the wheels were picked up. It was dated the 8/11/10 same as the email i received confirming collection. 2 weeks later i have had no response to this email. Today i received another email stating as they had not received what they requested they are closing the claim down... WTF... thats the correct invoice, what more do they want me to do. RInging them is pointless as you can guarantee you'll be on hold a good 10 mins at least and then the phone could ring as if someone is going to pick it up, but then im put back on hold. Live help is useless as they wont deal with claims and state to either ring or email "claims", which i have numerous times and had no response ever! I just feel fobbed off by them and feel i'll never get any money from them, nor see those wheels again. :mad2: I've searched the net and found review sites regarding P2G and there's lists of unhappy customers. Ive managed to find a few names to email on the who work for P2G to see if this can be taken further, im yet to get a response. What else can i do? Trading standards, is it worth taking it to small claims? I only sold the wheels for £65 posted and the postage was £30, but its the principle of the matter. Im going to return the money back to Kempy as he has been very patient with me, but im also missing a set of wheels. So i lose either way. Not happy to be honest. Any advice welcome, even better if someone out there works for P2G,or knows someone who does - doubtful but its worth a shot. Please be cautious when using this company guys. I dont blame P2G for losing the wheels, but they havent done all they can to resolve the situation and from reading the review sites i am NOT alone. Cheers Gaz
  9. Got home after having a journey of petrol fumes, well when stationary at least, to find the upper fuel line to the fuel rail had been rubbing against the clip on the lower fuel line where they join the fuel rail to next to the inlet manifold. Luckily no fire :? RAC came out as i was told they put a temp inch or 2 of pipe on the end of the existing pipe. But they just cut the end off and reconnected (great service from the RAC btw). Ive got a price of £31 + VAT for the pipe, which my mechanic says he thinks is for the full length to the tank. Can you get braided hoses to replace the rubber pipes in the engine bay?
  10. Id get the wipers and arms first and see how they go. I didnt have to replace the motor, mine work fine as long as the window is wet, if its too dry they dont return back to their park position correctly.
  11. Too right^^^ Was watching the local news (look North) and they had peoples responses, mostly on the side of the driver. However some of the comments made me angry stating such things as - "he should have been minding his own business" he was trying to be helpful to others FFS! :censored: Or, "if he was speeding he deserves it" wtf, did you even listen to the story, no one said he was speeding. Idiots!
  12. I can only dreeeam  I'll keep at it. Need to spend a full afternoon and eve having a crack at them to be honest. Its not the sort of game you can go on for a quick blast ... too many loading screens for a start
  13. ah, thanks for the tip Ryan. Shame ive no cash left to get it upgraded. WIll have to do some more races to ge the cash. The hour or so i spent on the game, 90% of the time i spent choosing and tuning a car or staring at a loading screen.
  14. Toy story 3 8.5/10 - loved it, as enjoyable as the first 2. :D
  15. Pretty annoyed really. Went to have a go at the london time trial 2. Limited to 246bhp. Bought an integra type r modded it and bought the correct tyres. Spent most of my cash doing it and i couldnt even get under a minute. I dont know how the leading player got 55.738 ??? so spent all that cash and could go any faster then 1:01
  16. oh yeah, sorry, forgot about that. No, still in need for a truck. Just tried the RX7 seasonal event race again, only managed 7th.
  17. Think you sent me the wrong car Tom, was after a pick up for the sports truck race on amateur
  18. Thats it, these cases getting to court are one thing - after all, all cases should be heard in court where authorities feel necessary. BUt its the idiotic judges who make the wrong ruling or give out stupid sentences or punishing the wrong person.
  19. I agree whole heartedly tbh. Its got to be at least a little challenging.
  20. It is a blatent copy, but its not a bad copy. Thats not to say, its well built, fast or well handling. Well the TT forum OP admits its none of those things.
  21. Cheers Tom, i owe you. Not to worry if its not tonight as i cant get chance to get GT5 on, recently. Its for the Amateur pick up races and what ever other ones there is to do.
