  1. I missed Q2, how did button fail to get to Q3, just too slow or an off? GO BARRICHELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Really hope Rubens takes it to the last race.
  2. Do you have an aftermarket wiring loom fitted? If so it could be one of the relays. To get to the bulbs, you're best off removing the headlight completely - 2 screws on top of the slam panel, but there is a 3rd screw holding the headlight in, you have to peek down a hole in the slam panel to see it, a long screwdriver will reach it. Does the sidelight work when the ignition is on??
  3. For the sake of a tenner i reckon it would be worth a shot. Does anyone have a pic of the welded lupo wiper, any links?
  4. Isn't the lupo rear wiper alot shorter then the corrado rear wiper?
  5. 'lo all, Just been reading the rear wiper removal thread and it got me thinking. I really like the look of the smooth boot lid, but i find the rear wiper useful so i would want to keep it. But i was wondering, just like the TT/Lupo front wiper arm replacement, is there another rear wiper arm that could be used on the rear of a corrado, a more low profile arm maybe? Any thoughts?
  6. Well dont quote my measurements leonard  the gap between the grooves on that pic is way more then 1cm. But i dont remember the gap being that great.
  7. If you want to adjust them though, the damper will have to be taken off, unfortunately.
  8. Have i got these grooves on my Koni TA dampers? How big are the increments? I wouldnt mind increasing the height of the rear by a cm... yes you will have leonard. I think there's about 10mm between each of the 3 grooves, 30mm from top to bottom - AFAIK. I got a pair of sniped nose pliers between the cap in the circlip and prised them apart until i could get part of the circlip out of the groove. Then pushed all around the circlip until it was on the next groove - fiddly job.
  9. Ah tuperwear box, good idea! By the way, just to confirm, are they the large or small relays you have there. Cant work out the scale.
  10. Good idea mate. My car failed its last MOT due to headlights not working, turned out water had got into the relays as you say can happen. I've ended up wrapping them in a back :? Your idea is good, but my relays along with other peep''s, are the larger ones. Not the small ones like you have, any ideas what we could use for them instead of the pencil sharpeners?
  11. im sure there are a few peeps in Cornwall, though whether they have vagcom or not is another Q
  12. Theres a vagcom thread on here somewhere, has a list of people with vagcom and where they are. Maybe someone close to you could scan it for you if you have no luck with the cables. :D
  13. That list can't be right, if so then it indicates people are trading in all sorts including Aston Martin DB7's among other things, my friend is a mobile body repair guy and saw 2 Corrado's in one day whilst based at an Audi dealer in West London. I wouldn't be surprised if it's in triple figures by now, you only have to have a look on pistonheads to see how many are for sale at any one time. Yeah something cannot be right if people are trading in Aston Martins and like  Even if the corrados were tatty and in need of alot of TLC, its still a shame :? :mad2:
  14. What you descibed sounds ok to me, maybe its me not being very good at explaining things. Best thing you can do mate tbh is get VAGCOM plugged into it. That will settle your mind. Or before that, get that light plugged in, if it turns on when you switch the engine on and it goes off again. Then that will be great! Shaun - cheers for that. I realised the dash light fascia was different between late and early. I didnt realise there were 3 different plugs!
  15. Any car with servo assisted braking will do that regardless of ABS, you're supposed to use it as a test of your braking system before any journey (according to the highway code). My early valver, non ABS, does it and so did the Focus I learnt to drive in (last year) - it was one of the things you had to know for the "show and tell" session with the examiner. The ABS should do a check when you first turn the ignition on, regardless if you start the engine or not. Mine sort of feels and sounds like its clicking, it also feels like it drops half a centimetre or so. Robotnik - yeah brand new from the dealers. Yeah second hand are cheap, though how long until they go (if they do). Secondhand is def worth a punt though
  16. Are they new springs? Have they sent the correct springs for the rears? (just a thought)
  17. I'd get one of each whilst you can  I was quoted £1400 for the ABS ECU and i hear the Pumps are a good grand too. I honestly cant see why they cost that much!
  18. you know the procedure. Yeah mine only works on com port 3
  19. Agree, and get a pic of the hole before you report the damage to the council.. dont give the b*ggers a chance to get it filled in. I once reported damage to a wheel, within the next 2 days they'd sent someone out to fill it.
  20. Cheers mate :thumbleft: I love that film! Johnny Depp rocks in it! btw no doubt, once you receive the cable, you'll find it wont connect. You'll have to do a little bit of fiddling to get it working. Let us know how you get on.
  21. Is the early corrado abs wiring different to the late. My ABS ISO block is 2 pins deep and 4 pins wide.
  22. I shouldnt laugh, but in effect you'll be paying for it yourself. As Shaun says the money comes from the government, the money will come from the tax payer. So effectively you're paying the 2000 yourself. SCAM!
  23. Thumbs up for doing something different! :thumbleft: Keep the pics coming. How much has the paint job cost?
