That looks schweeett! 8) The interior looks really good too..... do the heater controls work?
-
 Yeh that's what I thought. Even If I find the culprit, if they haven't bothered to let me know about the damage then I imagine wherever the vehicle is they've made an attempt to remove all evidence. :( Just to clarify - do I need a late spec slam panel? Or are they all the same? :confused4: Late slam panel and late bumper.
-
Total :censored: arent they! :bad-words: Sorry to hear about this dude. Personally, you'd be best trying to source a bumper in the same colour.. cheaper solution. The bit under the badge you refer to is the slam panel, there's more of it then just that one thin metal strip. Lift the bonnet and you will see the rest of it - the headlights, grille and radiator brackets all fit onto this one piece. Again if you could get a secondhand one in the same colour it just bolts on. The bumper needs to come off to remove this anyway.

Im SO jealous.... Come on lads, get more screenshots up. :D :norty:

I was going to do the same mate. Last week i only managed to clean inside the car and this weekend i was going to wash and polish the outside, but its raining here too :(
-
Clean the seats with something... your choice, what ever works best for you. To get rid of the smell, just peel an onion and cut it in half. Then just leave the onion in the car. Trust me this works, onions absorb smells. I had my car in the garage for months and it ended up smelling damp and foisty - an onion got rid of the smell. Ok smoke it stronger but it should/will work. Just dont eat it after
-
ah just switched over to it, adverts now :( There's a least 3 on police camera action, traffic cops or road wars.

Where are you based goldfinger?

It easy to get at IF the carrier bolts arent hard to get off. I and others have had problems getting them off but, Irwin bolt grippers to the rescue. Once the carrier is off, its simple to dismantle the brake disc, bearings etc to get at the sensor. Though i would imagine you could clear between the sensor and rotor without dismantling it, Try spraying a little brake cleaner down there if you can see where to spray. or even easier, get it plugged in to vag com if you can.

*Opens the "reverse rake" can of worms* But I'm with Kev, Level or slightly "arse down" is beat way, aids wieght transfer when accelerating, and breaking... Thats another thing i keep hearing on ED38, the shunning of 'Reverse rake'. Whats so bad about reverse rake, as you and Kev have said it has benefits?

Oh man i almost wish i had a Xbox. GT5 better have a corrado! EDIT - and to make it worse, ive just seen the advert for forza 3... looks sweet 8)
-
Jim Forza 3 from Tesco is £39.87 Asda is £37.91 I've found Asda to often cheaper then alot of places. I bought Fifa 10 for the PS3 and it was £39.99 everywhere else, but Asda had it for £37.97

 good lad :thumbleft: That Facel Vega is a nice car actually.
-
No idea  Some sort of Jag????

Mawrick - the 'sill' is the body work that run down the lowest side of the car, from rear of the front arch (underside repeater) to front of rear arch. See pic - Dont the wheels get more camber the lower they go, on the front at least? or am i talking bollards
-
I'm glad they didnt come with fuel lights, i'd be sick of the sight of it being on
-
It was you that told me that Kev. :) What i dont understand is, i read all the time on ED38 about people adjusting their ride height all the time. So they either are constantly shelling out money on an alignment or they're knocking their geometry out??? Mawrick, personally id forget about thread counting, just use a tape measure.
-
That makes sense if you've already had the geometry set up.

I had fun trying to get the carrier bolts out once, they wouldnt budge at all , even after hours of trying. I used Irwins and i got all 4 off in about 5 mins. Forget everything and just use some Irwins, they worth every penny :D :notworthy:

Hi mate, Regarding the mismatch in height on the front, is it a VR by any chance? I had this on my KWs as well as other suspension setup in the past. I was told by the good folks on here that, due to the engine in the VR sitting slightly to one side you will always get the uneven height. I simply raised/lowered the necessary side slightly to even it out. Same with the rear due to the fuel tank - though may not bad as far out as the front.

Welcome to the forum buddy! How many miles does the old girl have on the clock. That definately looks grey to me, dont think the corr came in Helios blue.

Damn, tough times mate. :( -
10 mins should do it, the ECU loses its setting after that.
