Hate that term 'hoodie' - the news loves to refer to all thugs as hoodies. I wear a hooded top every so often, on the cold days and im no where near being a thug or a chav. Though more people used to where then before the whole 'hoodie' term came out. Sorry i'll shut up now

Do most people replace the front hub with bearing?
Critical_Mass replied to VRTrickster's topic in Drivetrain
Do new hubs come with bearings already pressed in? If not, you'd still have to get them pressed in anyway. So you may as well save the money :D -
dodgy lambda?

CF F1 Fantasy League 09 -Final results...who won, who lost?

Indeed Joe, even I broke through the 1000 point barrier! I'll do better next year, it was a freak year. No one REALLY knew who was going to do well and who wasnt. Next season will be a better season, though this year was an excellent season! -
Just tried a Mk4 Golf wiper. The Mk4 blades are different lengths. One is 21" the other is 19". The longer one is the same length as a TT blade. So I fitted that to the passenger side and the shorter one to the drivers and it seems to work pretty well. Ok you're losing a bit of height on the top of the window, but only about 1 cm. Anyone else used the MK4 Golf wipers or got an opinion on them?

Yup, she should automatically get the blame, especially if there were loads of room between her and you. Makes you wonder why she was unable to pull up in time :cuckoo: -

Me too mate and i feel for you. But as said the main thing is you're both ok. -
I'd have to say Corrado. I like the Audi 80 cabriolet and especially the coupe. But im not a fan of cabs in this country, kind of pointless, dont get enough sun to justify them imo

How about this one http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1309976.htm I love these cars.. and i agree they do look similar to the corrado. Even mistaken one for a corrado before from a distance

Gonna be exciting stuff. Lewis was top after the first Practice, but only marginally quicker then Button. Anyone read this - http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines/ ... 10157.html Trulli and Sutil arguing about the incident in Brazil. -
No no, the info you have provided has been great. Much appreciated. :salute:

Ah i got TT blades and arms. I did think it was strange that my passenger blade wasnt as long as yours - cos you have a passat passenger blade. Does the passat blade fit the arm the same as the TT one, where a pin on the arm goes into a hole in the blade, then when the blade is parallel with the arm its held in place?
-
What?! he offered to pay extra :cuckoo: Fair enough  well done :D

Cheers John, would appreciate it mate. Yeah i cant seem to get the damn ccover off the end :bad-words:
-
Ah John sorry, just re-read the post and you used a passat passenger blade. Could you post a part number so i can eventually get a passat blade, also others may want to do this too :D oh... and how do you get the caps off the end of the blades, anyone?
-
John can i ask is that a drivers blade you have on the passenger side? I've finally managed to get these wipers and arms fitted. They need a little adjustment but seem to fit ok, bar the usual clashing of blades in the centre - not yet shortened the passenger blade. Though my problem is in your pic the passenger blade doesnt wiper as high as yours and doesnt get as close to the top of the window either. In fact its seems lower (shorter) then the normal wipers??? Have i done something wrong, i did use 2 drivers arms and blades as per part numbers on page 2? Can anyone help?

Spent about 40 mins trying to remove the bump strips on the drivers side of the car. Lots of boiled kettles later and finally got all three sections off. However i then noticed that little spots of the paint had also being removed on the door, even though i was really careful. Then spent the next 30 mins putting them back on... Shame cos i kind of liked the look without them. Oh well  -
Very nice mate, really liking it 8) Subtle side repeater deletion.
-
First i've heard of that Wendy. I had to have a CAT 1 fitted for my Adrian Flux policy... which i took out about 18 months ago
-
Yeah i like the subtle sound, I have the same one. Can i ask, does it knock on the bumper recess at all? I've found that using the standard rubber hangers it does on mine, so i used a universal powerflex hanger (cut down a little) to drop the tail pipe about 1cm.. stopped the knocking. But now as the back box has dropped a little, the pipe between the centre box and back box knocks on the rear axle :( Did you have this issue, if so how did you sort it?
-
Nice C, really clean and straight :D Is that a supersprint back box by any chance?
