  1. I'd be interested how you get on with the stalks Kev, keep us updated :D
  2. thom5r is that - the interior rattles less or the engine rattles less then a hyundai?
  3. I'll have to check which relay i have. Cheers :D
  4. Theck on way i tested it was, turn wipers on, then off, hold down the MFA button for x amount of seconds then wipers ba. So actually maybe it is the method you say  I'll test it tomorrow. Still the question still remains, i thought you couldnt change the speed of them?
  5. Hi all, Did the Corrado come with adjustable speed for the intermittent wipers? I've discovered i can change the speed of the intermittent wipers buy holding down the MFA button on the stalk. I thought this could only be done with a different relay, a relay i dont think (at least didnt think) it has?
  6. aye as above really. The water system is pressurised when hot, so taking the cap of the reservoir when its hot will release the pressure and spill over.
  7. They're a pig to remove imo, can be a little tricky.
  8. That will be the same as said above i guess. The DOT info is on the same side of every tyre whether its for the left side of the car or front. So you will have to turn the steering wheel to see one of the DOT numbers
  9. apparantly it's only on one side of the tyre... so you'll find that one side will be easy to find and on the other side it'll be on the inside... was it on the passenger side of the car by any chance?[/quote:2cw65urb] Ah so regardless of the rotation it will always be on one side i.e. on the outside of the drivers and on the inside for the passenger? Yes was the passenger side i couldnt find it. Which would make sense going by what you have just said above :D Oops thats the 37th week not 347th week
  10. To be honest i'd like to see kimi back at Mclaren, being Hamiltons wing man. Though i'm not sure where i'd place Heikki if he was to lose his seat at Mclaren. Trulli, Glock and especially Kubica i can see being with one of the new teams.. wouldnt like to say which ones though. Massa and Alonso at Ferrari. Brawns i reckon will stay the same with Button and Rubens, they've done well this season - despite jensons lack of results recently. But what about Renault, who to expect to drive for them next season?
  11. Thats it mate, im in the same boat re house and thoughts of children... best to get everything done before then  - you wont have any spare cash afterwards :(
  12. Checked the toyos ive just fitted, one was in 347th week of 2008. The other tyre (bought at the same time) doesnt seem to have a DOT number on it. I had a good look and cant see it.
  13. Is it erratic - goes up and down quickly all the time? Mines the same, but i think the corrado fuel guage has never been that good anyway. Try the search it has been covered before.
  14. Well like i say i think its welded on one end and the other end is bolted. You can always just dremel it off.
  15. Doesnt happen with me going up a hill, just when setting off. Its not an obvious sound. Just remove the heat sheild and see if it goes. My heat sheild is knacked anyway  where the tabs are welded to the cat are broken and only the bolt on the other end are holding it on.
  16. Just realised i have this same sound. Its not loud and it only does it when setting off. Once going it doesnt happen. It def sounds like the CAT heat shield though.
  17. I wouldnt have thought the snorkel would have had that much affect on the exhaust??
  18. Oh, i forgot. Had to toyos fitted to the front and a 4 wheel alignment done. The steering feels ALOT better then before - as you can imagine driving around with th wheels out of line. Handles and goes beautifully!
  19. Not done anything significant at all, but the car has suddenly started to perform differently from when i first had the vege engine fitted, it used to feel sluggish especially at low revs. The car just feels more revvy, more poised. Seems to accelerate better and has a sharper throttle. I dont understand it. The only thing ive done recently is stop the cam sensor leaking oil by putting a rubber O ring seal on it. Which involved removing the coil pack and leads. Also added a bottle of injector cleaner the end of last week. I can only think the injector cleaner has actually had some effect on the injectors and has unclogged them. But the car never showed any symptoms of a dodgy injector. But i had always thought something wasnt quite right but nothing obvious was showing that it could have a problem. Anyway, i've finally got the smile back on my face and have taken it for a nice long drive today. :D :D :D :D I love Corrados! :D
  20. Does it do it underload, just revving the engine or is it on overrun. Any idea where abouts its coming from. What do you mean inside the engine. Are you sure its not popping in the exhaust manifold? Does it drive like its got a misfire?
  21. Good link. Always wondered what the DOT number was, at least now we know what the end part means. Just had 2 Toyos fitted so will be checking the date.
  22. Agree with the above those white wheels look 8)
  23. Cheers for the heads up :salute: The bolts are about 9mm longer then standard. The ABS is working fine also. I just dont get why only one hole seems to allow the bolts to catch something :confused4:
