DONT mask off the chrome, when you pull the masking tape off it will take the chrome with it. Just buy a pot of black hamerite and a half inch wide paint brush - i bought one that was tapered. Then just carefully paint around them. Job done :D

I've tried to get them sort of pins out before from one of the ISO connectors for the stereo, but all i could do is damage the pin. I think ive read on here that someone as managed to remove those kind of pins before. But i had no luck.

Exactly, the season could be over by the 8th race, how boring would that be knowing who's going to take the championship so early on. At least with the point system even if a driver wins the first 8 races, where as another driver could have come 2nd in the first 8 races, this would still leave a chance (no matter how unlikely) that the driver with 8 wins could fail to finish in the points for the lat 6 races, and the driver with the first 8 2nd places could still take the championship (that make sense? :lol:). But to best honest, im not convinced at Brawns team finishing near the top in a race purely down to performance - testing times are not reliable enough to make that sort of judgment. Dont get me wrong, they could do really well in the first race and through out the season. But to go from a failed car to a front runner in the space of one winter even with the rule changes, im sceptical. Good luck to them, but i'll have to wait and see before i say they will be front runners.

Yeah thats spot on matt. The brake pedal should shudder when you first start the engine. But not sure if you'd feel that through the clutch pedal. Worth doing what matt says though neil.

yup, Vettel will be one to watch this season. Maybe even Kubica.

Sorry the 10,6,4,3,2,1 system is the one i was referring to. I agree there isnt enough points difference between the 1st place points and 2nd in the last points system. As long as we dont have the same carry ons this season that we did last season ill be happy. :D I too dont hate Ferrari (it may not seem like that :lol:), but as corradude said, they do SEEM to get preferential treatment. They're a capable team, which makes it worse when they get silly desicions given towards them. Also knowing Bernie is 'mates' with some of the drivers at their 'poker games', just makes the points situation smell fishy.

What was wrong with the old points system???? Oh yeah, as the news pointed out. If this rule was introduced last season, Massa would have taken the championship not Hamilton....funny that. Its worked fine for decades. Apparently its to encourage drivers to go for the win and not settle for 2nd etc. Although it may do that, i cant help but think Bernie has acknowledged Ferrari's reign is now over and he's trying to give them a helping hand... Sorry to the Ferrari fans, it could be me being touchy due to being a Mclaren fan, but we all know Ferrari were given a few 'helping hands' gaining points last season. :?

I think i have the same issue bud, the steering hasnt felt right for a while now.

Would be good to go down the GP2 route and all the cars are identical. Same power same downforce. Just different drivers.

Ah yes i remember that. I think the front is actually lowered by 40mm but i would have thought the wishbones would be horizontal at the most. Does having the wishbones inverted really mess up the steering that bad, or not?

To those that have 40mm drop up front. Are your wishbones level or slightly inverted ie pointing up, or are they as they would be with standard suspension, pointing down? I ask because i have i only have a 40mm drop all round, yet the wishbones are ever so slightly inverted but not that far off being horizontal. As i've been told from you guys on here, that when you lower the car and invert the wishbones that upsets the steering. Yet i want to go maybe another 10mm lower on the front when my KW v1s arrive. But at the same time i dont want to invert the wishbones more. I suppose there will have to be a compromise. I gather those of you who have a greater drop then 40mm, have the wishbones well and truely inverted? Whats the steering like?

Dont be too sure about that :? If you can hold a screwdriver im sure if you buy the part it'll be something that you could replace yourself.

Cheers Corradude, but i went onto the official F1 website and read about it on there. It is the case but its only a short term problem and fingers crossed will have the issue sorted after the last day of testing next week.

From what i've read on here Monkey the door pin is connected to a vacuum pipe that is connected to a pump. Could be the pump.

No body said they'd make sure the sunroof, door handles and spoiler would never break :lol:
