  1. +1 I think red with polished lip on a red car will look a bit much imo.
  2. AFAIK thats just related to the cooling system, the fans i think. Cant see that stopping the car starting. Can you hear the pump when you turn the ignition on? Whats the number on the relay thats clicking someone will be able to tell you what the relay is for? Could possibly the ignition switch also.
  3. Cant see those pics Karl. :(
  4. Someone photoshop it
  5. Yeah but supercars wont use cast iron manifolds.
  6. I think the worry is more on the manifold itself being put under more pressure due to it retaining more heat and cracking. I've always read that you should never heat wrap / ceramically coat cast iron manifolds.
  7. Is it a good idea to heat wrap or ceramically soak a cast iron manifold? wont it crack sooner or later?
  8. Cheers fella, much appreciated :thumb right:
  9. Never owned an Ipod so some one will probably be able to tell you more. Could you just use http://www.topvideopro.com/mp4-m4a-conv ... verter.htm to convert the m4p to mp3 thus should then work no probs on the head unit?
  10. Hmm mention no "General VW" forums GAV?? (Cough *Scene* Cough *Camber*) Gaz  Yeah i don't think there is any need to mention Edition38's name... Oops.
  11. Plus i've noticed on other forums i very occasionally visit that there is alot more arrogance, inability to accept other peoples opinions and members who are generally over eagar to jump on someone, as soon as they say something that goes against the grain. This is a much more pleasant place to be. :D
  12. 8) always had a soft spot for the passat estate, in a V6 flavour its even nicer :D
  13. Hello there  Maybe worth giving this thread a read mate http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewto ... =1&t=27844

Best thing to do is get it plugged into VAG-COM it should tell you what the problem is. It could just be one of the sensors. Hopefully the fronts, the rears are alot more expensive for some reason.

Change bulb, or in the case of what happened to mine plug had come out of the back of the fascia on the dash.
  16. Nice rado mate, those wheels are looking better then the sebrings, not a fan of them myself either.
  17. Do you mean its point out further (toe out) or the whole wheel appears to be sat further out?
  18. Cheers monkey. As far as im aware the shocks and springs are all the same age/mileage. I'll loosen all the top mounts nuts both on the front and back and bounce each corner up and down and then torque them correctly. It could be that i tightened the nuts on one side more then the other etc.
  19. Hello  Ignition switch would be good place to start. Sounds like symptoms of.
  20. Sorry to sound dumb (possibly too late  ) you dont mean the 'C' spanner to adjust coilovers do you, i have shocks springs? or do you mean to adjust the top mount nuts?
  21. Can you elaborate on that a little monkey? You cant move the circlip whilst the car is on the ground, or do you mean tighten the top mounts? When i put the top mounts back on, the ones INSIDE the boot, I lovered the car onto the ground first Would it be worth raising the car again, slackening everything off and dropping the car again and retightening?
  22. Yes, that is normal. The weight of the axle and wheels will cause the piston to fully extend before it start to lift the wheel...though yours does look a little high/extended as long it goes back to where you started at its all good. No idea about the other Q tho, sorry mate. You should be able to get them level tho - is it the drivers side that sits higher? Cheers for the reply fella. well now that i have 16" wheels and the drop is only 40mm it probably looks worse then others. Need to go lower really, but can only find Jamex springs that are -60mm front and back. No its the Passenger side that is slightly higher. Had this issue with the previous FK shocks before, just wondering if its me thats fitted something wrong :?
