  1. Surely it doesnt matter if its £10 or £100, its the principle of the matter.
  2. wicked. That has all the bits and bobs on it too!
  3. Dont think its a mega job tbh. unbolt the hinges and the other hinge thing  thats it isnt it. Make sure you suppost the door before hand though. I think the hardest part of it is getting it hung straight once the replacement is on.
  4. Yeah i think thats the case bcstudent. Isnt the solid blue one the ariel?
  5. appreciated the response anyway mate. Thanks. You too Cazza
  6. Yeah heard that before. Cheers mate. :D
  7. I did this with mine and found one of the wires wasnt used (??) just left it not connected. I think it was the blue/white one (the one you have on the left of the right bunch)
  8. thanks. How much was the valve from Ford, do you have a part no.?
  9. From what i can remember its 'PCV'. Theres a valve between the head and the intake pipe. If you look at the inlet pipe there is another pipe coming off it which has a plug coming off of it. This is where this so called valve should be but mine, among other VR owners have it missing. Ill try dig some old posts/pics up later on. ot even sure if it would effect anything. But this is why i was asking for help.
  10. i.e. a samco intake pipe would solve the issue. OR/AND a if the PCV valve was present. Not sure why mine as been removed tbh.
  11. Ditto. But never thought it could be something on the rear. Was thinking more the ball joints. But its had a laser alignment and nothing was spotted
  12. shame im selling my inpros WITH the adjust or you could have had one of them.
  13. ha ha told ya  Nice one... now move onto the next problem
  14. Had a Supersprint on my G60 and loved it. Cant remember where i ordered it from. Where can i order a supersprint system from for my 93 VR? EDIT - ignore that, read through some of the thread and saw one of my old posts. Stealth is where i got it.
  15. bear in mind the instructions say you dont need to and should use pressure. £12 is a bargain! Ill check ebay out.
  16. What you been doing to break them? Yeah i want that diamond cutter, you used it yet? Cant believe the prices of some of the tools. Though the £25 for the diamond one will be worth it.
  17. Just bought one of these myself. Ended up getting the 300. Just used to cut some clamps off an exhaust. Worked a treat and the discs dont wear done that quick, unlike the rotarzip that i have also got. Very eary to handle, even came with the bendable extension. Which one did you get 3corsameal, whats the attachment you have there? GOing to get the diamond cutting disc. I cant see you needing another disc to cut metal, though at £25 its not cheap.
  18. exactly, but i try to avoid going shopping with the girlfriend when ever possible - if shes buying for herself. She doesnt have me moaning at her for not hurrying up and i dont get dragged round various shops that are like sauners
  19. Poll who off ebay did you get it off. As i bought one a while a go that didnt look much but did the job. Bought a better one off a guy called CORRADOG60. The loom works a treat. If you did get one from CORRADOG60, admittingly the underneath of the relay holder block wasnt that protected. So i squirted some bathroom sealant in the connector holes
  20. Yeah on the look out for an exhaust too, also need a down pipe. I got a quote from Andrew Page to see how much the back box was, £295 + VAT
  21. Fair enough mate. Think you're lucky that you werent under the car when the jack gave way. Another jack can be bought.
  22. The support on the jack looks small. The one i use, which is one my dad has always had and its older then i am, has a saucer size support - Much more sturdy. Where you get the jack from and how much? Scares me to death jacking a car up despite what ive said. Scared the jack will slip and the car will hit me or fall on me.

    WINGS!!!

The one and only time i had to take a wing off and it took me a while to figure out where the other bolts holding the wing on was. Didnt realise it was on the inside of the arch submerged in tough to shift stuff
