  1. Looking Good Nathan, very well done mate. Though, for me the point of a third brake light is that its meant to be sat higher. Not knocking you, as what you've done looks really well done and even factory. Think i'll be doing what JMC has done :D PS - give us a pic of the lights illuminated :D
  2. hahaha, beats the usual booze etc. :D
  3. Good stuff, wouldnt mind giving this a go with my VR clocks, they need brightening up. How come the needle doesnt sit on its original spindle? Let me know when you've got it all sorted and a how to going :D
  4. That looks sweet mate, hope you're going to do a how to :D ;)
  5. You mean the shark fin thingy mi'bob? Yeah i think it looks better with out :D
  6. Id say keep it too and try to restore it. Like you say Jim, if you got a good shell, you'd still need to get the wings, doors etc, which would need spraying too, so you'd be no better off.
  7. If they arent bothering you and you plan to get the door cards retrimmed anyway, why not just leave them as they are for now. Sure they dont look brilliant, but it wont be for long will it? But if you feel you must do something with them, why not try some little tweeters in the window switch holes? Not sure about the other. By the way are the cards from a LHD car? i ask because im assuming the hole above the door handle in the last pic is the electric wing mirror switch hole, but appears to be on the passenger door?
  8. I see what you mean about the high nose, but the wing is still at the same level, leaving a gap between it and the nose. Looks likes its to direct more air under the car. The air intake however looks to be at the same height as the 2010 car. Untitled.jpg[/attachment:25dilwko] Jim Singapore would be a great track to go to. The cars look amazing under the lights on the tv. Would be good to see that in the flesh - not sure London would even compare to Singapore. Germany would be another good track to visit imo :D
  9. Great, thanks for letting me know Matt :D
  10. No dont think thats a rule change, more designing the car towards the Redbull of 2010, but incorporating the design for the rule changes. Not sure when the other cars are due to be reveiled other then the mclaren which we know will be after the Valencia testing
  11. Steam cleaner also might be a good start.
  12. Not much going in this thread. But i thought id give you all something to take a look at. Ferrari reveiled their 2011 car today, looks nice to me - quite like it. Looking forward to seeing the other teams. Take a look at this for a comparison between the 2010 and 2011 Ferrari. http://www.marca.com/2011/01/28/multime ... 22999.html
  13. Still waiting guys, as soon as i hear anything i'll update here :D
  14. Some good point here, this is a very interesting thread. Putting the taxes aside and the fact we could still be charged as much for the new fuel then petrol - as corozin said governments have become dependant on the taxes against fuel. Bringing the taxes down for the new clean fuel will have to be made up somewhere else, surely. Even if we were still taxed what we already are (maybe slightly less), if it meant having a clean fuel, bringing the troops home and not being so focused on the oil producing countries, i think that alone would make it all worthwhile.
  15. and no more land fills
  16. id say stick the OE pads on for now and then get reading the brake thread. I have greenstuff EBC with EBC disks. I think they're ok, but i know there are better brake combos out there. Least with OE you know what you're getting.
  17. Also i'll add that, cars are taxed based on engine size etc and generally on their emissions. But i cant see the tax dropping either despite cars become effectively enviromentally friendly.
  18. Sounds the way forward and despite the governments extra charges on it, it def IS the way forward in regards to oil supplys and the environment. But i do agree that i cant see it being any cheaper then 'regular' petrol. To be honest all this petrol going up due to cost per barrel of oil or cost of production i think is a cover for the government to increase the price for their own benefit. Still.... a new fuel is going to be needed, so putting the governments agenda to one side, this is still a good thing.
  19. Now if you fitted the dash also, then that would be a different story.
  20. Even if all the buttons worked etc i dont think it would look right, its too modern.
  21. Fck, sorry to hear this mate. Is it just the door thats damaged? A good thing if so. These bstards need their balls cutting off! :censored:
  22. although i love the answers so far i'll give a serious answer. You need one of these - http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/?ie=UTF8&keyw ... b49l29f9_b Its sends out a frequency that cats hate and they stay away from the area that the frequency submits in. My neighbours cats like to sh!t on my front garden and this is a nice solution to the problem
