Yup irwins and nothing else. Spent hours trying to get mine off, used the irwins and they were off in 5 mins! result!
-
Cheers for that timbo! Have you got it in another format, my computer doesnt seem to like that file
-
Yeah 1200... though that was maybe 3 years ago.

Sorry you said metal UNIT, i was thinking just bracket. Yes that will be the abs unit. Whilst you have the cover off, check there's no water getting down there as this can destroy the ECU and the last time i checked how much this was it was like 1200 quid!
-
If you mean the kick panel just in front of the sill near the door (held on by 2 screws). It sounds like the bracket for the ABS ECU. But i would have thought there would be the actual ECU there. Is the ABS working? A pic would help though.

Ok Timbo, that would be a start. Cheers mate!!!

Ok, the one that i had on order from the suppliers is now looking like a stock error. So im after one from anyone who has one. Im checking the breaking corrados for one too. BUMP!!!!! :D

The "what I did to my Corrado today" thread...

Ive had experience with a few internal interviews but not external. Its my first external one in like 7 years :? Im trying to get into an industry that ive been doing at my current job, but to actually get paid for doing it as opposed to doing it voluntarily as an extra on top of what i normally do. It alot more cash then what im on now. Which wil be nice :D No worries, im patient and still interested to see. -
 Can you imagine seeing that on Road Wars, haha!

If you need a carrier mate, i have a brand spanking new one in the garage you can have. got it with a new caliper but just kept the old carrier. If i remember rightly, the carrier will fit either side. -

Lost a carrier, how you manage that? You moved out of that h3ll of a lock up then Ryan? :D -
OK guys, my uncle is willing to get some of these made, but i dont think he will be will doing loads. I maybe able to get away with about 5-10 made. I'll update the first page with the names of those that have already said. However at the moment ive got one from the suppliers on order, this isnt 100% that they have it - the supplier were showing as one in stock and its been ordered but not yet turned up and assuming the stock number was correct. If it doesnt show up i'll look into other means to get hold of one - breaking cars etc. I'll be using the one on order or any one that i can get my hands on, as a template to get them made up. So just bear with me and i'll keep this thread updated. Cheers

About a week after posting the wheels, i posted a 6 branch manifold to 8vmatt, but this time used HDN and the parcel got there on time and with out it going missing. So seems to be a flaw with DHL... which i have used before and had no issues. P2G did email me saying they'd found the wheels and then i received an email a few days later which came across as they werent sure if the wheels had been found  Ryan - oh the irony! Jimmie - thats good to know, because i will be taking it to claims court if necessary. Were you requested to turn up to court?

Got a tip from my bodyshop re taking them off. Don't pull them upwards but pull them off horizontaly away from the wing mirror end. They got mine off perfectly like that. (sorry to be off topic) Nice tip Judith. Thanks.

Chineese MK2 Jetta Dash. Interesting....
Critical_Mass replied to Pat_McCrotch's topic in General Car Chat
Im not confincedd its all down to the bowden cable. I broke my original set of dials - the direction dial cog snapped, due to me forcing it. I changed the bowden cable and got another second hand set of heater controls, but the direction between feet and the face vents is still stiff. Between the feet and the windscreen its spot on though. -
Though looking at is FS thread, they could well be gone already.

I know Andrew30 is selling a set cheap. Not sure of condition though.
