I'll prob end up getting those cos they look proper smart, but i was really after m3 red/white that weren't crystal in any way, but they're pretty old now, besides, those FK ones are really growing on me! :)

Cheers guys, i'll have a word with gwent vw then. Hopefully i'll be able to get some red/white ones, no-one seems to stock them since the clear revoloution started!

Not sure if this should be in the wanted section, but... I want a set of M3 rear lights but not too keen on the crystal clear ones, i'm sure they used to make them 'cos i've seen them on a few c's. Anyone got any ideas??

Had that problem once, the head unit wasn't properly earthed, worth just checking where the lead goes. I found that my 'earth' lead off the factory loom ended up going nowhere! Alternatively, you could try an alternator suppressor, they're only about a quid and dead easy to fit. -

No worries mate, i had to do it on my golf anyway, just hope it all works out, you'll have to let me know. Yeah, got them from the show for a tenner on offer, think they're about a tenner each new though.

I've just got my hands on a switchblade key (brand new and only 18 quid off ebay!) and put my key in it, does anybody know if i have an ice cubes chance in hell of getting the VW fob to work the alarm?

Right, just finished swapping my top mounts over, and they've made the world of difference, i'll have some pics for you tomorrow, but for now you'll have to take my word for it. :wink:

I have the same problem, it keeps hitting where it goes over the rear arm, theres still no way i'm gonna raise the car up though!! :-P

My mate had a similar problem in his rallye, apparently the battery was suffering and it was using up all it's power to turn the starter motor so it couldn't power up the ecu. It's a long shot, but worth a try.

I had the same problem, i tried everything, it turned out it was the hall sender in the dizzy, they're quite prone to going.

My c has fk coilovers and i haven't had it clunking, but i don't think it can do any immediate harm. Just don't go doing any track days! :)
