Coming home from a tae kwon do lesson one night, i was taking a bend at (and this is what i told the police...) "40mph, when a fox ran out in front of me!" Honest officer! :twisted: The week earlier, i'd invested in the first 4 new Rockford Fosgate subs in the country. They, however decided to pay the back of my head a visit, swiftly before exiting the car via the back window! :crazyeyes: Only one survived, i however had a free trip to A&E to have 26 stitches in my head! :(

I tend to bolt the earth cable to the seat belt brackets, they're really good earths, as for the head unit earth, i ran a wire to the body (by the passenger door), just to be sure. Sorry to hear about the fuse issue, but a good tip for fuse stockpiling is to go to your local scrappy, and nick an entire fusebox worth out of a car! It'll keep you going for ages!(this trick also works for light bulbs too!) 8) Also, some cars come with fuse removers, just relieve the scrappy of one of those too, it'll prevent anymore fusebox misshaps!

Last castle combe action day i managed to get on the golf+ stand and get a little free track time! :D However after leaving all the saxos etc on the first lap, my cv joint decided to give up the ghost around quarry corner and i had to be trailered off of the track!!! :oops:

Have you ran the RCA leads down the same side as the power? :nono: It's one of the quickest ways to get interference! Also, check your earth on your head unit, if it's not very good, you'll get alternator wizz.

Interesting, i'm currently running a subaru IHI turbo on my g60, with an induction kit, cat bypass and jettex system and i'm seeing about 220bhp(fly) at 12-13psi.

Saw them testing the Veyron around the Nurburgring in May, the noises it makes are outta this world! 0X

You can buy a bolt on turbo kit from Jabbasport for the g60 that comprises of manifold, turbo, downpipe, all the relevant piping, and i think a mapped chip for about £2000. It's a very good kit, i'm now running one after popping two chargers in one month!!!

Spotted a dark blue/grey(it was dirty!!!) 16v reg g355 uyp, followed me outta taunton this morning. I was in a blue merc reg g8 vet, no wonder i couldn't keep up! :D

Spotted a blue VR going down Langport High Street, Reg N555 XXX at about 3.30. Didn't realise there were any other raddos in somerset!!! :D

Nice! :) I've got international breakdown with my insurers, they actually cover me for the ring!! :cuckoo: But i'm still gonna take lot's of spare parts, and one of the guys we go with usually brings his mk1 on a trailer.

Been to a few track days, at Castle Coombe, not bad, but if you want a proper track thrill, you'll have to be getting a ferry ticket and piloting your way down to Germany to tackle the Nurbergring! Been a couple of times in my mates car, hope to drive there myself in May! :wink:
