They press out the dents from the inside, then hit it back from the outside with all kinds of hammers, it's more like art!

He was beating at it for ages! Well worth the money on my opinion, especially seeing i'd been quoted a silly amount of money by a bodyshop for the bonnet alone (about £120) and he done it for 25 quid!

Sorry if it's been covered before, but one of these guys was at a TSR rolling road day today. Was doing an offer for 25 quid a pannel. He managed to get all the parking dents out along the swage line(!) and a crease outta the bonnet that's been there since i owned the car! In short, these guys rock! :thumbleft:

I know of at least 4 other vag cars that would be up for it straight away. By the look os the numbers you could advertise it and turn it into a mini show.

You can get a set of FK coilovers for about £350, they'll go down 110mm (If you're feeling brave) That's what i run and they're spot on! :thumbleft:

If you amp stays on, there should be a light that will tip you off, unlikely, unless something is very bad in the remote lead! (i.e. permanent 12v) But it's possible your battery is dead and not holding charge, or the bushes have gone in the alternator and it simply isn't charging the battery.

I'm in the same situation with a toad alarm. I asked a guy at VW, who thinks that Cobra/Scorpion alarms are the only ones that the keys can be reprogrammed to. But he also recons that the alarm manufacturers should make an interface kit to talk to the key. Hope this helps. -

Nice!!! :thumb right: I used to have my mk2 that low, trick with the chin spoiler: if you take out the two bolts either end (next to the wheel arches), the chin spoiler will flap up and down instead of cracking when you hit things!
