Its the same seal as used for the blue CTS sender / temp gauge.

12mm socket on a 3/8" extension bar should do 4/5 of then and then just a 12mm ring spanner to do the awkward on is what we use to remove them.

I would ask you local garage to plug in an oil pressure gauge test before driving the car any futher just to be safe. Should only charge around £10 to carry this out for you and there autodata will have all the given specs needed to confirm.
-
A perfect oppertunaty to take advantage of the free shipping offer we have at the moment on the schrick baffled sumps  http://www.g-werks.com/site/Default.asp ... gine_Sumps

+/- 10mm No there will be no signs.
-
why not take this advantage to increase the cc' by using longer 16v rods ?

If you were to change the wheels to somthing like a keskin KT4 (very simular design wheel but with alot more clearance) you would open up the avenue to many more possibilites. imho spacers on the front are not an option if you want to keep the wheel inside the arch.
-
I totally agree with you about there being somthing about mk2's once your into them you never 100% get them out of your system..
-
have you currently got the engine installed into the car ? if not i would allow this extra £500 for unexpected parts needed before it runs 100%
-
no you will not need to drain the oil to change this part
-
exactlly

Spend it on engine Efficiency...

If you wanted to go 15mm we can supply them for you . 8mm £47.50 15mm £65.00 Made by H&R so all TUV approved
-
If the wheels are rubbing the INNER arch's why not fit some small spacers. we now do an 8mm one which should not casue any issues with full lock on the outer arch. you could also get away with some 15mm' spacers on the rear offset depending. HTH
