i run a 195/40/17 tyre on my TT rims...
-
ok .. i have re read what u said again "it was early" and yes an isv will not vent boost until the limit of the map sensor is reached. i guess this is the problem with our charger rebuilds as when flowed 99% of them hit 1.1bar "on a 68mm pulley" hence why we have had to address this issue so much... :D
-
sounds like you need to give me a call matey on some setting up info.
-
erm no as stated in my origanal post is the map sensor dectects over boost this is when the isv can open .. ian is this a joke ? :? you have read the above yeah ? THE ISV IS MENT TO BLEED BOOST ITS NOT LEAKING... 8)

Andrew, a in-car afr gauge will only tell you when the engine is about to die. these are not accurate enough for setting your engine up my friend. either take it to someone with a wide-band or alternativley invest in a LM1. this piece of equipment will read all of your afr with complete accuracy.

mods : flowed throttle body / chip / pulley 8)

yeah i think you should fit a set ross then your corrado can look like a 80's throback too. why ruin the smooth lines of the corrado buy fitting some crap plastic strips down the side of it  i think brian needs to have a word with you ross.

sounds like you might of blown off a boost hose to me... has the induction noise become alot louder / deeper ? if so i would check all your hoses. hth

Whats the highest ouput (BHP) you can get out of a g60?????
W3RKD replied to doof's topic in Engine Bay
agreed. had the rallye on the rollers and transmission losses were 48.5bhp through all four wheels. not as bad a i thought was running 195/50/15" on the day though... -
hello , in my opinion you would be far more benifitial using a catch tank with just one inlet for the breather from the rocker cover and then use a k@n on the isv this helps keep everything alot cleaner inside and out side your engine. The only time i would ever consider a catch tank with twin inlets are when you are running a converted cherger bracket/bottom end breather. note : we do not have any stock of these for 2 weeks if you should still be needing one at tht time please dont hesitate to give us a shout.

well jim its funny you should bring this up. one of my friends "also a rallye owner" fitted his kit also but got a bit worried by all the stuff on the net saying about these kits so went down to his mot place to check the legalities etc. The mot tester rigged up his light alignment meter , then aligned them correctlly as if they were standard projectors and gave him the all clear saying he would be totally happy passing them come mot time and see's no problem with any car running projectors as std having retro fit hid's in there place. " remember rallyes have projectors as standard for low beam. " ps. Jim i did not fit these to look good. I Fitted then because i felt even with a uprated Headlight loom the standard light were very dangerious as the were just so bad. these are much safer as i can now see. :-P

brought the headlights allready converted . the kits using a phillips bi-xenon set up.
-
clickey here. very impressed...
-
On the head here should be 3 earths not 2. also i wouldn't recomend fastening them to the rocker cover i would fasten them to the side of the head @ the coolent flange.
-
i would also be checking the ecu vacuum hose to the throttle body for any damage..

gates 68416 is what u are needing :D

unbeliveable.............
