as long as the tread of the tyres are n the arch you will be ok " thats what i was told by the policeman when i got pulled over for red rear lights anyway i was running 9" wide with et15mm what offset are these wheels ?
-
here's a couple more to drool over then.. :-P
-
yep thats a very nice mk2 indeed.
-
you could do it that way but alternativly you could use a Tpeice onto the back of the clocks that way you wont need to run a pipe through the bulk head..
-
where dubster when ya need him ... he is ace at this sort of stuff..
-
i dont understand what the problem is et25 will NOT stick out from the std corrado arch even on a 8" wide rim ... leave them as it is and enjoy the arch looking fuller now.. :-P
-
how much do the wheels stick out ... bmw wheels are only around another -10mm than vw wheels arent they should be fine in a std arch..? do you have a pic of your concerns...
-
will be fine... try style dynamix for them ronals ..

hello there, i very much doubt if jabbasport were the last people to handle your g-lader that it would of left themselves with a belt thinner than 12.5mm on it as this is part of there package.. also the belts very rarly just snap on there own accord its usally down to one of the intermeidate shaft bearings throwing there greese and running for sometime unlubricated. can you see on the top bearings what brand / spec they are should be somthing like FAG 6002 C3 This would help us determin what parts and if someone else had had it apart after the jabba service as this could quite easilly be the case and that they could of just used cheaper of the shelf bearings that were not up to the job. a 70mm pulley is well within the chargers cabalitys to run all day with no problems...

did you take yours around the track ? how did it go then ..?
-
ill buy it from you if i can open it up first and have a look inside..

jim these will foul std archs there the same size as the rims lee had on it when you went to look at the car.... you would be better off with 71/2" x 16" et25mm imho..
-
i would say unfortunatly no. just a case or consequense im afraid..
-
from reading on this thread im assuming the belts he had changed were the cambelt and serpintine belt i would not think any garage would of changed the charger timing belt .. if they did and didnt time it correctlly this would be the cause of the problem but i very much doubt they changed this belt .... just sounds like very bad luck to me unfortunatly.

what are those rims on your mk1 rocco.. they look very nice.

Hi Fraser............that would have been mine then!.......and I drove the car all the way home before I even noticed your note on the windscreen (blonde hair moment) lol!! I actually found this site around a year ago but for some reason forgot all about it. Glad you reminded me about it though as I am looking for some car bits and there is good chance of finding them here, so thanks for that, Julie  you do know that all new members need to post a pic before we can help you dont you !!
