best way is to undo the three screws holding the headlight in place and remove the lights to replace, that way you can also see the clip to undo it!
-
Think thats the type of thing Andy i aiming for, but better quality, and without the need to vut the existing loom.
-
agree with not black or gold, but im still sticking with my earlier advice  Dont think green calipers would look out of place at all, its Storm its all about the colour coding... and would look alot more subtle than red......
-
Sod silver, i think you should colour code them! as well as doing your head lights!!

Nice to meet you Saturday Andy. As ive said before, im happy to test one of your creations for you! After chatting to you it sounds like your going to have one hell of a range of these on offer!!! Oh and when its all done ill take a 4 relay, all singing, all dancing one off you!

Ive literally just bought a set from Halfords 1 x 21" and 1 x 19" the drivers side one is perhaps a little too long as it touches the top trim of the window. But its better than the old blades for sure!

960 at redline in 3rd/4th? Do you have a flowed head? as IIRC these result is no pressure (remember pressure is due to restrictions in the flow of air) therefore there is nothing to worry about BUT If not you will need to investigate, as it effectively means the charger is doing nowt. My idle values are around 200 i think, and the highest boost i saw from the MFA was 2200, but i think my engine map ran out there as it was nowhere near the redline.

Thats what i thought too, was very confused/suprised to see it is all and was curious if there is any others out there that are the same. At least it gives me something quite unique about my car possibly the only 'jet' to be the wrong colour and have the wrong interior
-
none of that though!! i know its obviously not one of the JET limited edition (if it is then its been bastarised beyond recognition!!) Was just suprised to see it on the sticker and wondered if any other G60's out there have JET on the sticker
-
looks like all the other info on the sticker is right (paint code etc..) so dont think thats the case, and havent seen any reapir marks when ive had the interior out.
-
so did i! hence the suprise at seeing it on my boot sticker :?
-
Had a look at my boot sticker this morning, and next to model it said CORRADO G60 JET. Do all G60's say this or is mine just 'special'??

Am planning on changing my clutch as it seems to of been getting worse recently and feels similar to how my MK2 felt with cluctch slip before it let go!! Obviously will be going for the VR6 cluctch, is it worth considering GSF? looking at the website they list 2, one is a 288mm and the other is 288mm LUK, i assume the LUK one is the one to use? if not which! And do i also need to get the release bearing? OR should i just go VAG from the off? is no part numbers and price please!! and as per normal with my recent parts posts - trying to avoid a silly garage bill, so i would like to do this myself, but not sure what im doing, would be very helpful if someone would offer their services!!! or could it be done in the car park during the south coast meet??
-
are you running an uprated loom? mine for some reason only puts on one sidelight with ignition off.
-
205 50 15 does sound about right. 205 15 50 on the other hand may ba a tad on the large side with a rather low profile!!
-
HEY! throwing the match wasnt the problem, it was having my head over the BBQ at the time that wasn't overly clever!!!
-
Thats the stupid thing, i did! and STILL ballsed it up!
-
ermmm..... somehow i managed to put the HT leads on the dizzy cap 45degrees out! no wonder she wouldnt start really!!!
-

-
Cheers guys will have another look when i get home this eve as didnt have anytime saturday night or sunday. Should of said the plugs are getting covered in carbon after only a couple of mins in the engine while its not starting. Will also check for a spark later too. If anyone wants to pop round to give help it would be appreciated as i am almost useless when it comes to diagnosing problems!! If not ill call Mr RAC to come fix!!
-

as standard theres about a 30BHP differece between G60 and VR6, but try finding a 'standard' one! with a few simple mods the G60 puts out decent power, and i actually prefer the deleivery over the VR. Supercharger does need to be serviced at regular intervals to keep it from blowing up, but thats the only extra really. As for economy, i can hit mid 30's on a motor way journey, and my average on MFA2 usually reads between 30 and 32MPG. Personnaly i refer my G60 to VR's ive driven due to the power deleivery and the noise, but its all a personnal choice, best idea is to go and drive a couple. IIRC ABS was an option originally for the Corrado, but got added as standard somewhere down the line.
