  1. hey dude!! I'm actually from Toronto living here in London for the moment. I have to disagree...there are very few "Good condition" Corrado's left in Toronto, or left in North America...very few were shipped by VW ...and we got the shit ones...2.7L 176 BHP. Your best bet is to get one from Germany and ship it over....which is what I'm doing! Last year I was looking for a Corrado in Toronto and it was imposiible to find a mint one....unlike here in the UK.
  2. i'll tell you where an R32 will walk a Corrado....3 feet of canadian winter!! heheh
  3. some of these honda guys know their stuff....
  4. got this from a honda forum in the U.S...interesting stuff.. http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1330808&page=1
  5. gonna starting pricing out some coilovers for the VR....there are a few companies that make them for the Corrado in North America but I haven't seem too many people running around here in the UK with them....Apex...H&R coilovers....etc....
  6. maybe h&r has done away with different spring for the g60 and vr6 and gone for one for both? but the golf vr6 and corrado springs are totally different (according to h&r). When i'm in toronto i'll have a look at both....or maybe i'll go get some nice coilovers!!
  7. it does seems odd though....H&R list the G60 and VR6 springs as the same part number 54707???i thought the g60 springs would have been different to the vr6 ones becasue of weight?
  8. ok...maybe i'm a little slow..but here's what I've gotten so far.. Super: Are your springs blue? or green? Kev: "The ones you need are definitely Green and have "Golf III VR6" written" ....according to H&R corrado and Golf VR springs are different???
  9. superchargered: 54706?? that's an odd part number? can't find that one h&r's website? Kev: yours are green?? everyone keeps telling me the blue ones are the ones I need!! help!!!!
  10. green?? or blue?? ok..this is getting really confusing.....according to the H&R website the corrado vr6 number is 54707...the Golf VR6 is 54764..so i'm assuming the golf vr6 springs are different...
  11. the guy insists that the part number on the springs is 44707 and they came off his SLC (Canadian name for the corrado)..i even called H&R and they mentioned they might have changed the numbering but he couldn't find any record of it. the springs are blue...they're are too cheap to pass up if they are the ones....
  12. i'll check on the color, my VR is a K reg...so I think 92/3. I'll be replacing all the bushings when I swap out suspension. I've decided to go with the H&R/Koni setup....

    Bailiff :(

i don't trust these debt collection people.....take now, ask questions later seems to be their moto!
  14. I've got a VR and these springs came off a VR....it's just the part numbers are worring me....
  15. I'm off to Toronto tommorow and I was going to pick up a set of H&R's, but there seems to be a problem. The guy i'm buying them off says the part# is 44707...but the h&r website say 54707?? what do you guys think? did h&r change part numbers over the years....they were on his vr a few years ago so maybe part numbers changed.....
  16. I've noticed over the past few years my mods only consist of suspension and maybe a nice set of wheels....long have the days of endless mods ended for me....must be an age thing...
  17. lol...kevhaywire..i was reading your thread from awhile ago...scared the crap out of me...you've replaced everything to fix the problem....
  18. I'll probably get the ball joints and a couple of the bushings done this weekend.....hopefully this will solve the problem.....hopefully!
  19. I have this odd problem with my VR..thought a wheel balance and alignment (sp?)would fix but no luck. The VR seems to have this nagging pull to the left...really alloying....doesn't do it all the time. I've scanned through the forum and seems like it could be the ball joints? Any thoughts?
  20. dam....oh well....i would love to swap my interior for a black one...i love the Satin silver though!!
  21. sounds like the car for sure.....it was exactly the car i was looking for..not just a Corrado....a low mileage...maintained to the letter....pampered car....this Corrado was only taken out during good weather and stored properly in the winter...i couldn't beleive the condition of the paint and leather...although i'm not a big fan of leather....i would have prefered cloth.
  22. not too sure if he was a farmer.....i wouldn't be suprised. he was really anal about this car.... i was looking at that superchargered one....but i'm not a big fan of buying modded cars...i'd rather buy one that is bone stock..untouched...and mod it myself...
  23. yep!!! Bought it a couple of weeks agos....i can't beleive the condition of it! I'll be posting some pics soon..
  24. lol...yes yes yes...a company in Oakville does put out some sick Porches!! nice smooth wood..polished..ported.....oh and there's another comany in oakville that put outs some sick PORSCHES!! U guys don't miss a thing!! i need to start proof reading my messages!
