Just took delivery of a new shiny bit........ 8) Will be getting it fitted next tuesday whilst the rear bushes are done. YAy. :lol:

Well finally got round to fixing my heater matrix and swapping over to a black dash. Whilst at it tidied up my cupholder install and got rid of the alarm fob from one of the blanking plates. Also relocated the push start to the steering cowling and put a 12v socket for my phone in the cubby hole under the glove :lol: Shes getting there 8)

Not too bad. There is a slight mark on the top of it where something has been glued ti it at some point but as I was always planning to change it I never cleaned it and there is a very slight scrape on the side of the center consol. I had to nick one of the supports off it as the black one I got had one missing. ( the bit that the clocks rest on). Also have all the footwell biuts and trays etc. :lol:

Finally got round to swapping out my grey dash for a unmarked black one and changing the heater matriz. What a pig of a job that is.. :shock: Did give me a chance to sort out some of the wiring behind the dash and to get rid off some of the rattles. I hope :D HAve also moved the starter button to the bottom of the steering cowling opposite the key and to delete the alarm fob as I never use it anyway. Also butchered an early heater panal to neaten up my cupholder instal. Just need to find some where to fit the 12v outlet I bought so I can still charge my phone. Am thinking in the center consol just below the gearstick on the drivers side. 8) Will crack on tommorow and post some picks in my gallery. T

nearly there with ours./ Really love the g60 engine so an sticking with that untill it dies. Then see what is around. Hopefully wont be for a few years yet....... Paint in the next couple of month and sorting out the leather plus a couple of bits of trim and I should be happy......... Untill I think of something else..

Dont reallw want to get the arches rolled. would I get away with trimming the rears and getting a nice bit of stretch on the tyres? Never put anyone in the back anyway. Plus she is dropped as far as I can get her on coilovers......

I went for the rear race diffuser that fits on the bottom of the oe bumper and the gtx side skirts . Not very subtle but think they will go on a black car ok and I am after some fat rear wheels so hopefully will complement them... Tim

et 25 on the 7.5 on the front and et 15 on the 9's at the back. Reall want to get these. will they fit? Cheers Guys

Well have ordered some skirts and a rear diffuser off them. They have a 14 returns policy so if they are gash I will send them back.

Smoothed off all the fins on the cupholder then took a little bit off the consol. Really just a case of trimming a bit here and there. Am going to redo mine on sat with a new consol as I put a hole in the cubby hole for fitting a 12 outlet but put it in the wrong place. Will take pictures then. Tim

Did you get them then. I decieded against it in the end have now got a real longing for a set of keskin kt4's Drool

But the potential to make a mk1 a fantastic car in the future is great. Cheap 2l 16 for a pretty quick car or for the more extreme and with larger wallets a 225 tt engine pushing 300bhp... Then they are fantastic fun and pretty rapid

Yes, The barrel gave up and I fitted a push button instead. Not to keen on it where it is but am going to move it to the left hand side of the steering wheel cowling.

Could do with that anyway as I am on 17's at the mo and with a rs front bumper going anywhere is a nightmare :lol: TBH if they start getting to silly money wont be going for them as I would want to mirror polish them and get adaptors etc.

Is that on standard ride hight as I am currently on a set of fk highsports wound all the way down pretty much......

Hi Guys have used the search to no avail and would like to know if these rims will fit Front 7" x 16" ET 52 Rear 9" x 16" ET 60 They are 5 stud so know that I will need adaptors to get them to fit my G. Would like as much stretch as possible so what tyres would be good if they fit under my arches. Cheers Tim

Well a couple more things done. TT pedal rubbers and a seat ibiza cup holder...... will start on some other bits this week...
