they look god and with the exchange rate would be a bargin. I paid £98 for the lupo wipers about 18 months ago. only prob i have had is the blades dont seem to last long...........

well had some more thoughts on the cup holder situation. think this might work quite well https://sslrelay.com/s74326199.oneandon ... shopscript it may hang down a bit but is a din sized unit so will require no modding. Am going to th escreppys on mo to find one as well as a mk4 unit and any others UI can find so will see how I get on. Any thoughts?

Been doing a bit more research into this and have decieded that I am going to move the stereo like the picture below. Then using a vw dash blank that I have that is single din size will try and plastic weld it in then mod it to fit a Mk4 golf cupholder into. Should be able to get it quite oem looking as long as I can find one at the scrappys in black.

The plot thickens....... I think if you take off the boss there is a little bit of metal on the base that is meant to catch on the indicator mech and switch them off. I have fitted one on my Mk1 cabby and have not been able to get either side to cancel. Kinda gave up and have got used to it now. Passed the mot ok so havnt worried about it. Would be good to find out the solution though>

mine does the same. Have always presumed it to be because of the aftermarket wheel and boss fitted as I am sure I have read somewhere that this happens sometimes.

Thinking about it. That would be a good idea. Headunit to ashtray. Givin up soon what with te ban and everything. Plus will give me about 30 notes a week more to spend on the raddo. Move the lighter to the back of the cubby hole.......... Mmmmmmmmhhhhh. Cant wait to give this a go. Anyone got a spare center consol for when I feck up this one..

well I am off monday so am going to the scrappys. Will gt a selection and see what I can do. The one out of the polo9n / mk 4 goof is really thin just need to see if I can get them in. Has anyone relocated the head unit to the cubby hole?

Looks like I couldnet move it down a bit. Any one relocated the stereo to the cubby hole? I have a dash blank that I might be able to mod to then fit the cup holder where the stereo is?

Hi guys. I am taking out my dash this week to change it for a black one and replace the heater matrix, Was wondering if anyone has tried to fit one of these into the center console? Clicky Anyone? Was thinking about trying to drop the stereo down a bit and fit it in above, Might take a bit of dremeling but who knows :oops:

First time I have seen one of these. Homemade but when I looked in the back was really well done. Shame it was a bit battered 8) Only have the one pick as I didnt want the bloke inside to think I was mad :oops:

My G used to spit flames on gear change with the original chip. Since putting the sns it she dosnt any more...

You need an extender bar to get to it.

Cant remember the size but do remember that I had to do to halfrauds to get a socket. Think it was 22mm of hand but am sure someone will correct me in a min :lol:
