Now replacing that is a right royal pain in the provebial........................................ Scraped knuckles all round and I had a mate who is a mechanic helping. Worst thing was that the whole way through the ordeal i was praying that the replacement unit would work..........Cause my mate is a much quicker runner than me and I didnt fancy a beating. He really hates it when I phone up and ask him if he has a couple of mins to spare on the c. :lol: But i could change it again if needeed. Would suggest putting bolts back in instead of rivets for ease of removal another time :( Thanks for the help guys 8)

Ok, finally got the time to take the door card off and have discovered that the wire from the motor to the lifting arms has snapped. Can this be replaced or would it be easier to replage the whole unit? I have a spare door with the unit in it. And has anyone got a guide on how to change it over :? Cheers Tim

They look great but are a pain in the ass to clean. Hence the reason they are in the shed at the moment and I am back on the old black 17's. Loving the vr. Where did you get her from. Rk are good. I wouldnt take mine anywhere else. Complete dub nuts. 8)

I am at bridge by portreath. And travel to work every day in hayle. Cant remember the last time I saw another c. They are a rare bread down here. I am not to sure of any body shops down here as have not used any yet. ( on list of things to do) :D . Try asking on the oemplus forum as they all have work done most winters. Be prepared for a wait on the reply though as it is the quietest forum known to man. Hi guys, Have used the search and havnt found an answer to my problem, My drivers side window has dropped about 3 inches. When I use the window switch I can hear the motor going at the rear but dosnt do anything with the window. And when I lift it back up there is no resistance. But it dosnt fall more than 3 inches. Was going to have a look today but the weather was shocking :? Anyone had the same problem? Any easy fixes? Cheers Tim

Ok have taken the wheel off and discovered that the heatshield above the back box has come loose. Hence it sounds like someone has thrown a handfull of stones down the exhast :lol: . How have people fixed them back on? It looks like there was a round disc fitted onto a screw on the body that held it on before and the shield has corroded around that leaving a £2 coin sized hole in the shield. Suggestions???? As the noise is driving me mad cheers Tim

So to just check. Fit the drop links with the car up. then tighten them when the car is sitting on all 4 wheels. Got to be a pita surly :D

Just a quick one. Any idea why the bushes on my droplinks would be shot after 2 years and about 10k? Replaced with febi items. Would they be the reason? Just seems a bit odd for them to be shot already.............. :?

Those are great, Always go to my mates garage and nick one whenever I need to get one of those clips off. AND never put them back on. I always replace them with good old jubilee clips :lol:

Cup holder is one of the best mods I have done. No more burnt bo**ocks with hot coffee. The leather was a steal but needs tidying up. The drivers seat is shocking(bolsterwear, Not in the photo :lol: ) and the door cards could do with being refitted as the edges are coming away. But it was only £160 so its great for that. Rears perfect and passanger is good. Really want a set of leccy black leather recaros for the fron but they are mega bucks :?

Since she is the cleanest I thinbk I have ever got her inside thought I might share it :lol: :lol: :lol: See what going to a couple of shows does to ya :?

Hi Guys, Can someone help me, I have fitted a new bonnet today and it is all on Ok apart from the drivers side catch. When I drop the bonnet the passanger side catches but the drivers side does not. It did before so what have I done :? :? Help Tim
