saloon or estate. Can you remember any of the reg, would probably play with something like that if in the VRT :norty:

Nice looking car; agree it does look like the A5. While getting the Corrado MOT'd i was leafing through old Auto Express magazines and saw this coupe, which i thought IMO looked very very nice; shame about the badge though

I have standard beige heated leather in one and cloth recaro's in the other. I feel the seats are styled the same but I would agree with previous comments in the fact that the recaros have better back support, but having the heated seats on 5 does the same for my lower back troubles. My only gripe is the summer sitting on hot leather isn't that great. If I could only keep one it would probably be the recaro's. Saying that I do agree that having leather does seem to make the Corrado more upmarket.

You seriously have to open a garage and apply you gift to other Corrado's. I hear Swindon is a lovely place to live and I won't have to take my Corrados far then to have a bloody brilliant (what do I call you) as you are far beyond a mechanic, only two words I suppose Corrado connoisseur. Having found this I too will be watching your every move. Oh and by the way if ever you sell it 1st Dibs  beat you all

Off the road.... my my. I haven't driven mine for months now, can't believe I have nearly owned it a year and probably only put 1500 miles on it. New Years resolution "Must drive more". Brakes should be going on soon at last.

Valver for the girlfriend's first car - opinions please...
ozowen replied to pete_griff's topic in General Car Chat
thats not a bad call. I have to admit though Pete; just ask the GF what she would like. By the sounds of it she wouldn't be a fast driver so having a modern car with ABS, Air Bags, etc doesn't really matter. Golf MK2 GTI, Lupo (kinda cute)................sporting fiesta  -
Very nice, do like the borbets. Does that mean you are now keeping the car. :confused4:

I knew the forum would help. I am sitting in the house watching the corrado hopefully getting hot, my brakes are frozen to had to drive it out this am to let the wife get to work in the skoda. Am contemplating getting the beast out of her cover and just allow 303 to thaw naturally. :brickwall: :brickwall:

Since the corrado is a clean looking car, add-ons sometimes don't look that great. IMO I don't like it either and there are nicer ways to get air into the car. It might be less obtrusive if its sprayed the same colour as the car

New series of TOP GEAR Sundays. Series Comments
ozowen replied to The_Dude's topic in General Car Chat
Good episode to sign off with tonight. The cars were good and seeing Hammond crash was funny and dare i say it not choreographed. In concluding not the best series we have seen from the trio but car programmes on tv are not at a premium so I will still watch and hopefully in the near future there will be a re-formatting on the content. Lets see what 5th gear has to offer when it starts in a few weeks -
A nice welcome to the new year. Unlucky Paul it is sad when you hit something but in a way a good thing you didn't see it as you might have swerved to avoid and that could have been a lot worse

I don't think its that bad. Not my cup of tea but the paint work ie the black stuff looks well shiny.

:worthless: Welcome to corrado ownership. I cannot help with the G60 as I have the superior VR6   (just kidding G60 owners) You will come across the usual corrado traits: Stalling. Door handles stop operating Bonnet release breaks Heater stops blowing warm air Lights are :censored: Wiper Blades need Lupo ones ( not sure I'd agree though) Anyhow

Very tidy car matey. Welcome to the forum  and hope to see you at next years shows and meets. You are in very very good hands if you are taking it to D&G.

can add to my list now that I have a 1988 Jetta GTI as a daily. The Corrado is the car I have owned the longest at 4.5 years. Wonder if I'll still have it in another 4.5...[/quote:15f8rupt] You better had :D

What's the car? Who's the cutie? Perhaps NSFW.
ozowen replied to craigowl's topic in General Car Chat
Good work. Just looked at the photo's and she is hot. Best one imo. :norty: -
Love the colour but then I would :D . Looking good; I would agree with the crome VW badge in the front, I have black one on original and chrome on the fettled one and I much prefer the chrome. Do like the Corrado script in black though, did you paint it and if so what paint did you use

Yeh I'd disagree with the yuppy bit but in the 25 cars before you die. At least I've managed one of lifes little chores  . Pearly Gates beckon
