Yeah thats the one. Only thing that needs doing on it is the charger needs rebuilding (its had about 40k use since last rebuild), so I'll probably be taking a trip to G-Werks at some point, and get them to have a look at it :)

Picked up my new Corrado G60 yesterday, bought off Kevhl (Thankyou! :D) and set off back on a 200mile journey home.. I wish it had been longer :wink: Driving on motorways was so effortless, and then the slightly twistier stuff nearer to my house was immense fun! The accelleration in 2nd and 3rd is jaw dropping - I've been driving around in a Vauxhall Cav with around 60bhp for a couple of months, so from that into the G60 :lol: I now understand all your obsession with these cars :) I think my dad even likes it more than his Jaguar XK8! lol Chuffed! I met a guy at a RR day who'd bought a 306 GTi6 engine (Ladd tuned) supposedly 200bhp, think it cost him about £3000... When he got on the rollers it made standard bhp - around 170... needless to say he was not well chuffed :?

BBS wheels definately suit the corrado... but tbh I don't really like them all that much. I prefer 5 or 6 spoke wheels, something much simpler. I'm actually finding it difficult to choose a wheel that I like, and that suit the corrado. So far the momo GT series has been the only contender...

Trying to decide what wheels I would want on my corrado, and I think I like momo GTR's or GT2's.. but does anyone have any pictures of these wheels on a corrado? I have one picture, but it still doesn't give me a good enough idea Cheers, Chris

vr6corrado, Cheers, it looks a lot nicer colour in those pictures :) CaiosG60 PWR, unfortunately not.. it was orgininally Bournemouth 20VT James' (ex?) corrado which I photoshopped. I haven't uploaded the full version of the picture in my avatar, but I did have another one from a different angle: http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3224 I might go look at this corrado... but its south of London... which is rather a long way when I'm up in Teesside :(

Found this corrado on autotrader.co.uk, sounds quite good, however the colour is a bit dodgey... can't decide if its just the picture or not? Has anyone got any better pictures of C's in this colour: Cheers, Chris

Yeah I think they do it depending on how they're trying to premote the car. Releasing not as impressive performance stats will lower insurance etc. but not attract the boy racers :roll: so does anyone know the actual (one person in the car) performance statistics for the G60?

Those figures for the 106 aren't quite accurate... peugeot tend to release official figures that represent 'everyday' performance, namely the 0-60 times are done with 2 people in the car and some weight here and there. In the 106 this added weight effects it quite a bit. In a racing situation Evo.co.uk's firgures are probably more accurate Peugeot 106 GTI 16v Price New - £11,795 Engine/cyl/cc - 4/1587 Bhp/rpm - 120/6600 Lbft/rpm - 107/5200 Bhp/ton - 128 0-60mph - 7.4 Max Mph - 127 They don't list the G60, just the VR6, so I can't list accurate performance figures for them...

thats harsh :( I've just travelled 200miles this week looking for a G60, saw a really nice C, only to realise that I can't really afford to run one until July kinda time :( Gives me a better idea of what I want and what to expect though... can't wait till I've raised the cash now :D

even that I'd be interested in... I'm paying £1600 now, and thats a group 5 car!

how much do people who are 19 and younger pay for their insurace? and who will even quote you? I'm 18 now, own a 306 DTurbo and looking to get a G60 in June (possibly wishful thinking) when my insurance runs out... so hopefully then I will have 1 years NCB... want a corrado so bad!!

Might have just been a good engine. I was at a Rolling Road today and a fella with an S16 got 171bhp!! all it had done was an exhaust, he was well chuffed :)

S16 has 155bhp, whereas the Gti6 has 167bhp... like u said, the S16 vs the G60 would be a good match

have u got an 8v xsi or a 16v? the 8v are shite I own a 306 Dturbo - tweeked the fuelling a turbo, and its about the same speed as the xsi 8v! Theres not much between a Rallye and a Gti6... but either should be able to beat a standard G60, and will be a close match to a standard VR6

has anyone got any side pictures of a standard (i.e. no bodykit) corrado on 18's? I can't decide if they'd be too big or not...

lol, the rims are the same shape as the standard 306 Gti6 rims, but are actually available in 17's (called wheelmania lions) but unfortunately are no longer in production :( I will make this dream come true one day :D ... but with different wheels, lol

mine! even tho its not real :( As for real cars, it would probably have to be jimbo-corrado's C :)
