  1. Looks great! I quite fancy copying too  Are the UK bumpers more 'rounded' than the american ones? when I see UK bumpers with the plate recess filled, they look a lot nicer (rounder) than the american bumpers that don't come with a recess as standard? might just be the colour or pictures... Looks nice with the front spoiler sprayed too... didn't think I'd like that, but it looks good... it'll get chipped to hell tho
  2. Stunning. First time I've seen a picture of the seats installed, they look awesome, perfect ride hight, rear looks fantastic.. all in all a very good job! Nice!
  3. Fantastic! Cheers :D Good choice in wheel too, I think they're stunning! Looks like I'll have to save up if I want some tho :(
  4. Sorry for posting a thread like this (I know how much everyone hates them) but I can't think of another way of finding out what wheels they are... Found some pictures of them on golfs, anyone know what they are? I like a lot :D Cheers, Chris
  5. If you find some wheels you like, then I can try photoshopping them onto a red C... Sounds like you want a similar style wheel to me, and I can't decide which ones I like either...
  6. lmao  sounds like he has fireworks shuved up his exhaust! kinda cool, but I'd only want them if they were a result of a lot a tuning.. rather than there on purpose
  7. Turbo Diesel cars tend to smoke when booting it from low down revs (i.e. before the turbo has kicked in) my old 306 used to pump out black clouds below 3,000rpm if i put my foot to the floor, and didn't accellerate at all until the turbo kicked in either. Maybe he was in the wrong gear - lol just throwing some random suggestion there, I don't actually know anything about the RS6 or how fast they are :-P
  8. Lol Cheers :) It looks more realistic when it was done in black, but I changed it when I got my car :-P If you've got photoshop all you need to do to change the colour of a car is select all the parts that are coloured (for above select everything that is red) using the Lasso Tool, then go to Image > Adjustments > Colour Balance, and then play with all the bars till you get the colour you want. I'm not that good at photoshop really, I just spend ages doing things so they look as good as I can make them. But this Guy!!! http://www.iacoski.com/    I've never seen someone make the images look that real! Oh and the car that I've been photoshopping started off as Bournmouth James's Corrado >> http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2340
  9. Doh! :( I'll have to give wheelmania a call and find out whether they come in any other fitment... although looking at gti6.com it seems that nobody's actually recieved any from them yet  thanks for the tip anyway mate :) So what you doing venturing away from the PGAC (my previous home for anyone interested)? not thinking about getting a Corrado are you? :D
  10. I may be in contact in future, cheers :D Thinking abouty this more I think my order of things is going to go in the direction of: Tyres --> Supercharger Rebuild --> Random bits that need doing --> Reiger Grille --> Coilovers --> litte bit of ICE --> Exterior --> More ICE --> Interior ^ Big list  just need that lottery win :D
  11. This is one of the reasons I was wanting to see pictures, wasn't sure if non standard seats would actually look any better than the ones already in (with a retrim). Its not the sort of thing I'll be doing for a while... until I have the money and everything else is sorted, but I like thinking about and planning what I can do :D Hans G60.nl, looks a lot better when everything matches... I think I'll go for the blue and red look too, to match my headunit :) Anyone got anymore pictures? :)
  12. Some really useful information there, cheers dubbprince :D I've just had a look on ebay and found something german... something for the corrado made by supersport - http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... gory=44158 who can speak german? :) I'm really tempted by this now, but trying to talk to this person is gonna be interesting. I'll have to find out how much Venom are doing these for nowadays.. it says on their website £399, but that was back in 2002. Lol I'm dreaming again, like you said I should sort the things that really need doing first like the supercharger and the tyres  I'll PM darren now and find out how much a rebuild will cost :D
  13. Has anyone got any pictures of Corrado's with sweet looking interiors? thinking along the lines of bucket seats installed, or bucket recliners, nice retrims etc. Along with my hundreds of other plans for my car I'm wanting to install some Corbeau Carreras, but I've never seen any corrados with non standard seats installed... and was wondering how they'd look 8) Cheers, Chris
  14. lol  I already have a nice list of things that need doing to my C before I can start on the fun stuff... (smashed fog light, off coloured headlamp, drivers door lock, charger rebuild, new rear tyres) luckily the C I bought has already had the engine played with, really nice handling, I think the brakes have been uprated.. and some alloys. I'm actually pretty content with the way it looks, so I was thinking I'd concentrate on ICE, but now I've realised that my back tyres are pretty much dead, so I might start on alloys (will be getting 17's so will need new tyres when I get them anyway) but if I get 17's I'm going to need coilovers to make it look right... that kinda wipes out £1200  :( Need another job
  15. This won't really work for everyone, but I was curious as to what people would do first modifying to their cars, if they could only do one at a time, one after the other due to money restrictions? (i.e. save up, buy something, save up, buy something etc.) I like all areas of modifying my car... interior, exterior, performance and ICE and hope to turn my C into something that's complete with all these things in mind. Obviously I can't do everything straight away as I don't have the money... but as the money comes in, what would people do first? I'm having a hard time trying to decide, I think the interior is ok, and the performance is more than enough, so that leaves me with ICE and styling... :confused4: Chris
  16. wow I've just read through 10 pages of this :) any chance I can be added to this? although I'm still confused as to what the dials will look like, but it'll be better than standard, so I'm happy :D
  17. yeah I read your thread on there a couple of days ago, theres a couple of people that seemed interested and impressed, but most were just upset that he has TSW wheels. Your last reply made me laugh
  18. impressive! seems to have taken shape quite quickly, and if the end result is as good as that astra then you'll be onto a winner  looking forward to seeing how it turns out 8)
  19. I'm a student :D And of course I'm doing something computery... my course is called Creative Visualisation :-P basically means I get to doodle and mess around on computers  I also have a small business called Pentek Systems tho, we build bespoke computer systems a lot cheaper than the retailers... so if anyone wants a new PC :D:D
  20. Yeah pretty much, I've never seen a bodykit or huge add on to the corrado that I've liked, so although it doesn't look anything totally different or original, I think it looks best. 8) I love those wheels too, but I doubt I'll be able to get hold of any as they're no longer in production.. supposedly theres a company that still has some, but whether they have them in corrado fitment or not is a different matter. So I'm on the look out for similar style wheels that also look good :)
  21. lol thanks :-P I'm a little bit worried about making my car look exactly the same as yours, so I probably won't do the number plate recess fill thing... that'll make all the difference   Yeah I did a photoshop of his car ages ago and posted it on here... now I've changed it to red, lol Thanks for all the comments guys :D
  22. 1991 Corrado G60 - Tornado Red Bought back in March 2004, sold in May 2006. Previously owned by Stealth Racing, although thats not who I bought it off, most of the engine work done to this car was done by them when they owned it, apparently putting out 195bhp... however once I got hold of the car I made a few changes of my own. My eventual goal was to have 200bhp @ the wheels, however I would have needed quite a bit more work to achieve this! I only ever attended one rolling road, which was a group session organised by DemonVW.co.uk held at Well Lane. The car made 197bhp @ 6400rpm. I have to admit I was disappointed not to make over 200bhp, especially considering the spec of the engine, however I managed to make myself feel better by questioning the accuracy of the figure, given that it was suggesting I made peak power at 6400rpm on standard cams!? All work done to the car under my ownership was carried out by myself (with a fair bit of guidance from my dad!), and I have to say I've learned a huge amount from working on this car! Unfortunately I started a few things that never got finished - Audi door handle conversion, and late spec interior! But luckily my friend Karl has a G60 too, so I may get to see those things finished one day, even if not on my car. I never did any ground breaking mods or styling, but none the less I think I ended up with a pretty nice Corrado and it was a real shame to see it go!
