Hi mate. Fek knows how to get that bolt on the thermostat housing out. As for the water pump..... it's on the right of the engine near the front, kinda under the coil pack. Its about 6 inches or so long. An inch or two thick and cylindrical in shape. Like a very large silver and black cigar! :) Water pump is an easy enough job i guess, but quite hard to access. Good luck :)

Thanks chaps :) NickVR6 - the ride is very good actually. I was just thinking about that on the way to the office. Its definately a lot stiffer but not at all crashy. Well impressed at the moment - I'll let you know once the dampers have bedded-in. -
Is that a kit for non coilied cars? Or do you only get a discount if you haven't got coilies? ;)
-
Oh right. Just realised they ARE hankooks! I thought Ventus was the make!!! Doh! I'll get me coat :(

cheers Muks :) lovin it tbh i just swapped one of the 205's on the front over to the rear and it is fine. bit of rubbing on nasty dips but i can live with that. so just ordering 2 more 205's. i went for the weitecs in the end mate - pretty darn good i have to say, especially for the price :) Kev - cheers dude. got to see how it will cope with the ferry on sunday ;) -
As above..... On mytyres they've got one of the best test results from tyretest.com and they look very nice. Kind of like continentals in fact. Anyone tried em and anyone know who Ventus are? Cheers Will

No worries fella. I've had a tiny bit of rolling done already and there's plenty around who've pulled it off, so fingers crossed! I refuse to raise the ride height now so gonna have to find a way round it! :) How does pulling the arches work? Is that actually pulling the outer arch out more???? -

How does rolling go wrong mate? It's just folding up the horizontal lip inside the arch. should be ok shouldn't it? -

wheels are 7.5x17 et35 tyres are 205/40/17 front and 215/40/17 rear. rubbing is at back - i reckon it would be better with 205's. the 205's on the front go inwards from the rim, whereas the 215's go out from the rim a wee bit. tiny bit taller side walls too. i'm gonna swap em round tomorrow and see what happens. -
