Needs a good clean - I reckon its been stood for a while. Some sort of sticky sh*t smeared across the roof. Typical the bloody motorway was shut with me on it. Jeez that was hot in there :( -
Just got back from collecting our new toy :) Nearly fried on the m25 as the windows don't work!!!
-
As someone already said, lots of good photos help. I sold my t25 van on the bay for a grand more than anyone said i'd get for it, including all the camper 'specialists'. Don't even think about accepting paypal - the charges would be fairly large on that sort of amount. And make sure you state somewhere the max amount of time people have to pay infull/a deposit. Good luck :)

Picking up my new engine tomorrow mate (still in the cheapest vr ever purchased) :)

I've always had a Dutch flag you nut! Smoking again? That would imply I stopped at some stage? ;)
-
What morals? No point getting any now!! Just do it!! Mad as :norty: Dutch Not sure on the plugs, but I asked about oil on here before, and was told to stick with Synta Silver.[/quote:d5d48] Would be nice eh mate? :)

What do rover owners do about servicing and sh*t now? If they've got a car still under warranty for example?

The best bit of the vr sound for me is the burbling and kinda gargling on the over-run. Such a nice sound. 2nd gear, coming up to a roundabout or junction, the last bit as the revs drop just sounds amazing. God I'm sad....... -
But G60's are girl's cars aren't they? I thought it was vr's for the lads and g60's for the ladies??? :)

I apologise in advance for even daring to suggest it mate, but is it not perhaps a little arrogant to assume that you can put something into practice that everyone else (including Einstein ffs!) has failed with for 200 years?? Just a thought :) -

I know one guy called Bob who used to own one, and he has a 'B' tattoed on each ar*e cheek for when he bends over (think about it). I think that just about sums up callibra drivers in 2 elegant examples :) -

If you're even considering a callibra you have come to the right place mate. We'll set you straight and on the path to enlightenment. Step this way....... Seriously Dude - a callibra or a Corrado VR6??? Sort it out fella. Thats a total no brainer and no one on here is gonna argue :) -
thats the one! i'm sure she'll love it mate :) i have to say fords are pretty damn reliable these days - my ex's is still going at 140k + and that includes a period of about 70k without so much as an oil change or service of any sort!!! all its had in 7 years/140k is a clutch! :)
-
Nah. Got an engine now mate. And a charger (as soon as i pay for it today). So it looks like its all coming together :) Going to see if I can afford nos (for the craik like) :) (tbh i can afford nos - i'm just struggling with the morals of owning a charged, nos'd vr!) :)
-
have to agree on the ka - minging inside and out. but supposedly good reliable little cars.
-

Hang on...... I'm confused...... It was invented in 1830 by an englishman called joe who was from australia? Sounds like a load of old horse sh*t to me to be fair. All theory. Absolutely no proof whatsoever. Government agencies. Come on Mulder, you can't expect me to believe any of this....... -
out of interest, what made the plugs oil up?
